29-30/12/2016: end of the year

Good last few days at school. Wake up early and went to bed early. Enjoys playing at the games arcade downstairs in the evening while waiting for mommy. 

27-28/12/2016: early sleep, milk at night

Managed to arrive in time for breakfast. Have good days at school. Waits for mommy in the evening. Trying to reduce TV but still has to watch TV while drinking milk before bedtime. Manages to go to bed on time around 8-8:30

Very clingy to mommy. Does not like Ms Tuong or daddy anymore. 

Imitated yawning (from the book), snoring, points to objects and names from books and TV. Loves mommy so much. 

26/12/2016: back to normal

Late for school again. Back to normal. Went to bed early again.

Very clingy to mommy. Refused Ms T and daddy. Would not let mommy eat or leave the room or sofa. Loves mommy so much. Comes down to greet and run to mommy at the door whenever mommy comes home from work.

21-23/12/2016: xmas celebrations at school

Good days at school. Went to bed early and woke up late. Always late for school. 

Fussy when Ms T came to attend Xmas party at school. Otherwise behaved. 

Knows how to hide in a corner and laughed when mommy went looking for him. Really smart and lovely. 

Still would not want to share toys or play in the playground with other kids. 

Knows to get his shoes, put them on and  remove and put back to place upon returning home.

Every evening would meet mommy downstairs or play in the square to watch Cmas festivities.

24/12/2016: Christmas at TQT

Woke up really late. Played in the square. There are lots of Christmas decoration and fair. 

Mom

Had to prepare gifts and buy gingerbread house to bring to different activities. 

Took nap with mommy then family went to TQT for Christmas gift exchange. Boom ate lots of ham. Boom enjoyed, clapped his hands, danced and walked around. Was really sleepy on the way back. Terrible traffic, especially outside of Royal due to people going out for Xmas, took a long time to find a parking spot. Finally got home for Boom to sleep.

25/12/2016: Bin's bday, messed up schedule, threw up, late bedtime

Woke up early again. Did not eat much.

Bin's bday at 2PM messed up Boom's nap schedule. Boom sleepy and grumpy. Took awhile to enjoy playing and eating. Fell asleep on the way home. Nap for 30' then woke up and played with Mina. Boom received a present at Bin's bday.

Went to bed really late because of late nap. Ms T fed boom milk. Boom cried for mommy but daddy held Boom. Boom threw up. Mommy felt so bad. Boom played with mommy for another hour before falling asleep at 11pm. Boom really sticky to mommy these days. Does not want Ms Tuong or daddy.

Mommy is having less and less breastmilk. 

20/12/2016: good day

Slept well until 8AM but still nursed a lot, went to bed late.

Enjoyed school. Ate better at home.

Waited for mommy downstairs. Ran to mommy and kissed mommy.

Fell asleep early but woke up right away. Did not sleep again until 10PM. 

19/12/2016: back to Hanoi

HObsessed with cậy nốt ruồi, thinking it's dirt 

When he's feeling better and happy, he's like an angel.

Has a naughty smile. Knows how to nịnh.  Copies whatever mommy says like a parrot: oh oh, wow, hahaha... 

Seems better. Behaved on the plane ride home. Sat on mommy's lap the whole time. Rolled suitcase in the airport like an adult. 

Ate better and went to sleep early at home. Happy to see Ms Tuong. Mom and dad are exhausted. 

Only changed diaper 2 times for the whole day! 

18/12/2016: exhausting day

Boom fussy all day. Did not eat at all despite everyone's attempt. Had a hard time pooping but let out a big poop

When only mom

Was there. Only nursed. Mom had to play with Boom

Most of the time in the kid's club. Only napped for 30'. Managed to sleep 1.5 hour late afternoon. Went to bed late at 11.

Crying most of the time. Only happy anfew times: laughing, talking, going for a walk, saying hello and bye bye. However he enjoyes being held by grandpa Minh.

Mommy exhausted. Daddy went to play golf with grandpa Minh in the afternoon.

17/12/2016: travelled to Phu Quoc. Terribly tired. Record low sleep.

Woke up at 5AM to cry and vomit. This is the second time it happened always after returning from TQT.

Watched TV with Ms Tuong while parents slept a bit. Rushed to pack in the morning as usual. Boom napped a bit.

Boom was happy in the beginning. Even pulled his own suitcase. Fussy 2nd half of flight because he was sleepy. But only slept a bit.

Napped again during the bus ride to

hotel. Had fun at the Kid's club. Mom

And dad wanted to take Boom swimming but he cried so much and threw up. Mom

Had to bring him back to the kids club. Did not eat anything for dinner. Fell asleep.

Woke up again and played the whole evening. Went to bed at 11.

Overall terrible day:

- woke up too early, night mare and threw up

- did not get enough sleep: 4 short naps (isually he has 1-2 long naps)

- cried badly when having to leave the kids club. He loves it there. Mom felt very bad. Should have let him play there instead of taking him away. Sometimes adult impose our own will on children without consideration.

- no shower. Still had slight fever.

- did not eat much

- did not drink much milk

- due to erratic naps, went to bed really late

- record low sleep since birth: only 8 hours

16/12/2016: ba Huyen's birthday

Woke up early and went to bed on time. A bit cold.

Got a slight fever in the afternoon. Was a bit fussy. Went to TQT with parents for ba Huyen's birthday. Ate a bit on mom's lap. Behaved. Complimented by ba Huyen. Seems like Boom had a bad reputation with ba Huyen.

Went home before cake cutting. Went to

Bed late at almost 10. 

15/12/2016: went to bed late

Daddy went to Hoa Binh for a funeral. Mom ate banhmi. Boom went to bed late. 

12-14/12/2016: happy to greet guests

Boom's skin is better. 

Happy at school. Sometimes he was really hot and sweating when wearing long sleeps. Always sweat all over the bed at night. This week he learned about mommy at school.

Yesterday parents had guests come over. Boom was really excited. He was greeting hello, sitting next to mom like and adult listening to conversation. Saying "ngoi day", brining out his doctor kit, playing the piano and turning around asking people to clap hands. Danced to the music. Even running to hug a visitor and then shying away when he realized it was a stranger. It was wonderdul! Parents took dad's staff to dinner. Boom refused so stayed home to watch TV and play downstairs inside by the toys. Went to bed late.

Everyday Boom takes his shoes and says mimi to wait for mommy downstairs. Upon returning home, he would put his shoes neatly in place. 

Boom wore mom's apple watch for a couple

Of hours and accomplished the exercise requirement. Shows how active and calory buring toddlers are.

Daddy went to a funeral in Hoa Binh tonight. Only Boom at home with mom and Ms Tuong. Family ate banhmi.

Boom goes to bed early these days at 8 but sometimes woke up at night. Does not jump on mommy to nurse during the day these past few days. But still nursed a lot at night.

7-11/12/16: recovered, skin allergy

Recovered from ear infection after few days of antibiotics. Returned to school happily. Grandma Ly returned to Hoa Binh. 

Been nursing a lot for hours. Giving mommy sore nipples. Mommy determined to start gradually weaning Boom. Could not stand it anymore. Ms Chi already weaned Bin.

Boom getting used to the new potty for washing ass. Daddy excited every day when Boom pooped to test the potty to make modifications. 

Boom very happy at school. However daddy did not have picture and letter for Boom during the picture session.  Shows off his new shoes. Got lots of shoes and books from grandma Hang's London trip.  Says No whenever he refuses something. Would not let anyone get his belongings. "than giu cua". 

Knows when it's time to sleep and pretend but refuse. Even copies daddy's pretending to snore. Gets stuffed animals to sleep. "ngủ đi"

Copies gestures on Youtube music and stand and dance. Calls mommy "mimi". Kisses mommy but refused to kiss daddy. Pushes daddy away when dadd wanted to kiss mommy.

Gét up early every weekend when he goes to bed late. Mom had to go to batdongsan conference on Saturday. On Sunday mom and dad went to lunch with TQT cousins. Boom stayed home because he would not enjoy being in a restaurant. 

Boom got rashes again like last winter. Took Boom to a private doctore and was given expensive medicine. 

3-6/12/2016: ear infection

IBoom was sick and tired all weekend. On Sunday morning had to take him to Hong Ngoc hospital and visit Dr Giang in the afternoon. Turned out he had ear infection. Had to take antibiotics.

Was better on Monday and Tuesday. Still stayed home and will have to continue the medicine.

Boom is really grown up now. He understands everything. Plays with other children as if they are his peers. Had neighbor friends come over and play happily. 

Grandma Ly went home after 3 weeks visit. Boom is so aad. He has grown familiar with grandmas and enjoys their company, running around to find them and play with them, giving hugs. Grandma Ly was also helpful in taking cafe of Boom. Boom can call her "ba Ly"

27/11-3/12/16: regular week, many festivals

Regular week at school. Always woke up late. Went to pizza 4ps on Sunday but did not enjoy much. 

Refused to go to bed in the evenings. Not even let the stuffed animals go to bed. Force them to play with him.

Shakes his head and says No.

In the evenings, go to the shopping mall to buy clothes for grandma (he can call "bà Ly") and the food fair in the square. 

Goes around the house looking for mimi. 

Got a runny nose and got worse towards the end of the week. High fever on Fri night. Sick on Saturday. Fussy and did not eat much. 

Mom and dad had to leave Boom home to attend Philippe's birthday and Lena's art exhibition.

24-25-26/11/2016: thanksgiving, sick mommy

It's supposed to be Thanksgiving in the US with big sales but our family didn't go out.

New happenings:

- it's really helpfull with grandma around. Grandma can also get B to sleep easily.

- daddy took Boom to school after a long hiatus

- boom always behaved when going to school without parents

- b is considered well behaved student at school: eating, sleeping by himself

- Bin came to visit. Boom very welcoming but would not let Bin get his stuffed animals. Boom sat on the sofa to watch TV and asked Bin to sit next to him "ngồi đây" and sometimes stood up to dance to the music-

- B enjoys the "bô rửa đít"

- mom's sick these past 2 days so could not play w Boom

- still addicted to nursing

- runs around the house talking and playing with people

- calls mommy "mimi oi". Calls "ti oi ti a"

- 

22-23/11/2016: back to school, spit up

Back to school. Had fun. Can speak new words. Mom gave teachers orchids for 20/11. Grandpa Thai returned to Hoa Binh.

Boom can call mommy "mimi"

Boom spit up all

Over mom's body. Had to take shower, change sheets. Took 1 hour of rocking and nursing for B to fall back asleep.

This afternoon grandma Hang went to visit Boom for awhile. Grandma Ly and grandma Hang took Boom for a walk in the square and played in the playground.

Boom fell asleep early without nurisng.

20-21/11/2016: happy time in Halong

Had a good time in Halong. Went swimming lots of times. Boom was scared of the sea and sand. 

Daddy and mom had to handle Boom during mealtimes. Ate little. Only likes tomatoes and prawn crackers and orange. 

Other times would play in the Kids center. Loves the cars there. Even carried all the big teddy bears to sit in the car with him. Also

Played make believe cooking. 

Talks all day, runs around, had fun with grandparents. Even cried when he had to say good bye.

Napped for 2 hours on the way back and had to watch videos for the rest of the time.

In the evening B stayed home with grandparents and Ms Tuong while parents went to dinner with Rosella's family. There are 2 babies. But it took too long so B would have been tired. 

Boom fell asleep on the sofa while grandma watched TV.

19/11/2016: long trip to Ha Long

KMom was in a frantic packing for Halong trip with both grandparents. Ms Tuong was able to join on the car ride back to near her hometown.

Mom prepared lots of songs from Youtube but luckily Boom played and napped and didn't need the phone. Overall Boom was well behaved. Had a wrong route at first, then bad traffic, stopped for lunch. Overall took 6 hours including lunch break to get there. It was Boom's longest car ride ever.

Boom enjoyed and was very excited. Rest for awhile. Went swimming outdoors with daddy. Took a bath. Played in the kids room. Had dinner with family. Boom did not eat much but sat most of the time. Went to sleep at 9 by nursing. Was a tiring day with little nap and little food.

18/11/2016: first wedding

Ban Mai's wedding. Mom went there first. Boom and daddy and grandma went later. Boom looks very handsome in a suit that BD bought from Germany last year. Hasn't worn it at all.

However Boom was quite shy and would not stand or walk around. Only rarely plays. Luckily he sat and played with the food for the whole dinner. Family had to leave early so Boom could go to sleep. People stayed and sing and took pictures. Had fun.

17/11/2016: went shopping, fussy afternoon

Had Teacher's day party at school but Boom was fussy. Would not play or smile or talk.

After school and dinner, went shopping for clothes for grandparents. Boom had a lot of fun, went to sleep late.

14-16/11/2016: good days at school

Went to bed earlier, usually by daddy rocking to the music. Boom would point to the speaker to ask to put on some music. Usually drinks some milk at night.

Slept well and gets up late for school every day. Still nursed a lot.

Teacher said Boom is the most behaved kid in class. What a surprise. But seems like all babies would behave at school and then melt down upon sight of their family members.

Still coughed and spit up a bit. 

Had fun with grandparents at home. Loves the balance beam at the new entrance of R5. 

13/11/2016: tiring one day trip to Hoa Binh

Whole family plus Ms Tuong went to Hoa Binh to pick up grandparents. Boom did not sit in car seat. Boom napped a bit on the way. 

Did not sleep or eat much there. Was a bit fussy. Mom and Ms Tuong had to carry around and play with motobike or pretend to drive a car. Boom even demanded to close the car door and checked to make sure. Was sweating like a sauna.

Decided to go to Cao Phong orange festival. Big mistake. Witnessed a Fatal accident on the way there so there was a terrible tradfic jam. Boom fell asleep. High light was being able to visit the orange garden and buy fresh oranges feom there. 

Had to stop by Hoa Binh for dinner. Boom got lots of mosquito bites. Watched Youtube on the way home.

Was very tired and sleep upon return home at 9:45. Cried a lot. Nursed to sleep.

10-12/2016: runny nose and cough

These past days daddy had to rock Boom to sleep to the music and then mommy nursed. Refused Ms Tuong. 

Refused to give his stuffed animals food. Knows how to joke and compete with them and play make believe games.

Started to cough a lot. Still pooped at night. 

Sat: went to shopping mall and watched dancing in the square

9/11/2016: midnight poop, spit up. Behaved better

Pooped and spit up in the middle of the night. Cried because of sleepy. Nursed a lot.

Grandma and Ms Tuong brought Boom to school. Boom behaved.

Dad had to rock Boom to the music and mom nursed Boom to sleep. Goes to sleep late at 9 nowadays.

New developments:

- repaet words after the music

- says "gió", "mưa"

- points to mommy and bà in pictues and recognise

- point to mommy and says mommy

- understands everything

- can repeat many ửods "kính" for glasses

- demands "bóc" and mở

8/11/2016: wants mommy

Still nursed all night. Big poop in the morning. Always fussy whenever he wants to poop.

Happy at school whenever Ms T drop off. Teacher says Boom always happy and well behaved at school. Only becomes fussy when there are parents around.

Waited for Mom downstairs. Addicted to breast and could not wait to go home. Was crying during elevator ride. Nursed a lot while watching TV at home.

Every evening had to try to make him drink milk before

Bedtime so he would nurse less. Sometimes have to syringe feed him. 

These past 3 days he was very fussy, crying all the time during bedtime and only wants parents. Would be happy when daddy held him and laughed out loud when approaching mommy. Would ve so happy nursing and finally falling asleep. Maybe will have to change his bedtime routine.

His bedtime habbit has been chaning all the time: daddy singing, rocking to sleep, using baby carrier, take a walk in the stroller, nursing, using bean bag, watching TV and head massage... only rarely would toss and turn and fall aslepe on his own. Now back to nursing to sleep. 

Very busy exploring the world and how things work. Running all

Over the house and climbing up and down things. Also taking care of his stuffed animals.

Turns out it's normal for kids to behave at daycare because it's structured with classmates and teachers are outsiders but feel safe to misbehave at home with parents. Had to put on his best behavior all day long. 

7/11/2016: grandma Hang visit, fussy

Was fussy since returning from TQT last night. Grandma thinks it's because of ghosts. Daddy thinks because Boom was over excited. Mom dreamt of being chased by a white furry lion after seeing the dogs at TQT.

Fell asleep for noon nap while watching TV.

Cried a lot in the afternoon. Only enjoyed swimming.

Managed to drink milk. Took a long time to fall asleep. 1 hour of nursing until 9.

When ms Tuong rocked B to sleep he would protest since past few days. Would cry and be so happy when handled to mommy to nurse. Maybe he really wants to be with mommy. 

6/11/16: went to TQT for dinner, hard time sleeping

Diaper leak due to too much pee. Wet his pants in the morning. Also had a giant poop.

Stayed home in the morning. Then took a nap with mommy. Saw Aura in the lobby, kissed each other and was really happy.

Went to TQT in the evening with parents because grandma Hang arrived. Loved playing with the cat and dogs. Got over excited. Had a hard time falling asleep at home. Kept wanting to watch TV and crying. Finally nursed to sleep. 

4/11/2016: refused to sleep

Nursed a lot at night. Spit up again. Vicious cycle of going to bed late at 9-10 and waking up late for school, making mommy late for work.

Copy mommy putting on make up. 

Was fine at school. Seemed happy.

Had neighbors come over to play in the evening.

Kept trying to go to bed late by playing and watching Youtube. Happy that mom is sitting beside him. Would lean over and kiss mommy. Refused to turn off the light or go to bed. Mom read a book and Boom sometimes point to pictures and repeat after. 

Very smart. 

3/11/2016: really hurt by vaccine

Slept well. Went for vaccination with daddy and Ms Tuong. Normally would cry only a bit but this time he knows and cried a lot. Had to stay home for the day, missed school. Mom and dad so worried.

Watched TV most of the day. Went to bed late this past few days but nursed less at night. Wakes up late everyday, went to school

Late and made mommy late. 

Was fine in the evening. Went to bed late again.

2/11/2016: woke up late again, winter

Boom Slept well last night. Woke up late for school again. Winter is coming. Boom is dressed in red outfit. Can use spoon to feed himself. 

Enjoys taking care of his animals and even the boy in the diaper bag: giving drinks, wiping face etc. 

Can say lots of words. Understands. Oth Vietnamese and English. 

Even sits still to cut his fingernails. 

31/10-1/11/2016: sweating, less cough

Still spit up on the bed. Sweat a lot, very smelly at night when sleeping. Nursed a lot at night. Went to bed late at weekends, got up late for school.

These past 2 evenings after rocking to sleep, he would get up immediately and laugh as if he was pretending.

Seems to understand everything. Thần giữ của. Would not let anyone touch his stuff. Always pointing and giving directions. Can say "nước".

Likes sorting and picking up thr beans. Last night he woke up right after rocking to sleep. Turned out he had to poop. Had to play for another 1.5 hour.

Had fun at school. Teacher said at school he automatically goes to bed and take a nap after lunch by himself, not even wanting to get up when it's time. Wonder why he cannot be like that at school. He's a role model student at school.  

30/10/2016: Ben's birthday

Slept until 8. Went to Tan Mai for Ben's bday. Played with Bin and Ben. Bin a big brother but Ben still hasn't learned to share with Boom. Ate a bit. Visited Tan Mai apartment. Boom pointed to the dirty places and said leu leu. Boom was conceived there. Luckily Boom does not have to live there. Had to watch Youtube on the way home. 

Took a 3 hour nap until 5:30. Went swimming with parents. Got distracted by a boy with tennis ball so kept chasing the ball. 

Had dinner then Bin and Ms Chi came to visit. Boom showed his toys and was very bossy giving directions. When Bin took Boom's toys, Boom pulled mommy's hand to help interfere. Boom concentrated on picking the beans from the container. 

Went to bed late at 9:30z

28-29/10/2016: halloween, Youtube addict

Spit up and dirtied his whole hair. Had to take a shower again.

Had a fun Saturday. Went to Ecopark to visit Voi's family. But the Voi sisters did not play with Boom like last time. Boom still had a good time. Was able to sit on the high chair and concentrate for a long time. 

Fell asleep on the way home. Was able to sleep again later. Went swimming. Enjoyed and was able to go farther.

Showered with daddy. Went to halloween festival at FFS with mom and Ms Tuong but did not enjoy much. Left early. 

Went home to drink milk and aleep. Took sometime to fall asleep. 

Addicted to youtube: demanded to watch whenever in the car.

26-27/10/2016: spit up

Still coughing. Spit up on the bed.

Now wakes up every morning and cried because of poop. Also poops during dinner time while waiting for mom to come home from work.

Gets lazy about walking and rolling his suitcase. This morning mom said not to bring suitcase but Boom not happy about the traditional bag.

Boom usually not cry when Ms Tuong drop off. Only cries when mom or dad bring to school so it always breaks mom's heart to drop B at school.

Talks a lot. Shows others his toys and books. 

Starts to drink more milk in the evening but the milk is very sweet. 

Still addicted to TV and ti.

Helps teacher put toys away at school. Actively participate in class activities. Sfalls asleep by himself and does not want to get up. 

24-25/10/2016: cough, red sneakers

Cough and spit up again. Also pooped while sleeping in the morning.

Loves wearing his new red sneakers. Even willing to wear socks. Ran around so fast. Sometimes fall. 

Knows how to shake his head and says "No" when asked questions such as "Boom co di hoc khong"

Still addicted to breast and Youtube. Loves taking care of his stuffed animals. Likes the small baloons. Surprised by why it shrank so small. 

Every day waits for mom to come home from work. 

23/10/2016: swimming

Dad went to Bac Ninh. Mom went for face treatment. Boom went to supermarket. Mom went home and heard Boom's voice in the lobby.  Boom took nap with mom then went to play. 

Went swimming in doors with daddy. Had fun. Went up and down the ladder and even jumped into the small pool by himself.

Started to drink some milk in the evening before bed. Brush teeth by himself. 

22/10/2016: hang out with friends, another fall

Woke up early. Mom and dad went to attend start up event. Boom stayed home with Ms Tuong. Watched TV and hang out with Gia Han. Only napped 1 hour. Went to the supermarket. 

In the afternoon Mina and Bin came to play. Boom talked a lot, bringing out books and toys but then later would not share with friends. 

Took bath with daddy but during handover, mom and dad slipped and Boom fell and hit his head on the floor. Cried a lot. Mom and dad felt terrible, guilty and bad and worried. Mom and dad and Boom watched some videos from during pregnancy, it was fun.

Boom had slight fever. Had to take medicine then rocked to sleep. 

21/10/2016: fever at school

Slept well until 4AM then suddenly woke up to poop. Mom had to nurse for almost an hour before falling asleep again. Both mom and Boom slept until 7:30.

Was fine at school but had a fever so Ms Tuong had to pick up early. He knows fever and would touch his forehead and other people's.

Demanded to go to megamall and Ms Tuong had to leave stroller on the ground floor. Luckily mom came back and went home together. Played and watched TV until 9. Brushed his own teeth but very carelessly. 

Everywhere he goes, everyone knows him. He's popular and considered a smart bright boy. 

20/10/2016: women's day

Nursed a lot again. Peed a lot too. Resumed pooping early morning again. Woke up early.

Ms Tuong brought mom's presents for Boom's teachers at school but they said the school does not permit. 

Many times found out he pooped so don't know how long it has been. Sometimes the teachers do not notice.

Happy to see mommy at the lobby everyday. Wants to eat friend's food. Did not watch TV in the evening bcoz he watched after school. Had fun playing around and taking his suitcase everrywhere. Drank milk tonight! Nursed 30' before falling asleep.

17-19/10/2016: talks a lot

New week at school. Cried a bit during drop off but otherwise happy. Teacher said Boom talks a lot at school. Some words very clear. Whenever he goes home he'll say bye to everyone including the cleaners. Pass the chickens and say o o o... 

Enjoyed playing in the playground while waiting for mommy the oher day. Has his older firends around. Was even pointing and giving instructions to his friends to "ngồi". Very bosy. 

Shakes his head to rythm even while nursing. Addicted to nursing and touching breast. Even wanted to touch Ms Tuong's and manequins in the shopping center.

Nursed all night. Still cough a bit and threw up on the bed once at night. 

Likes to joke and make fun. Can repeat one action over and over again:

- open cabinet to get item, give to daddy, close, open and retrieve to get it back..

- go up and down slide, brining stuffed animal and pushing it down the slide before him. Still had to alide down backwards

Gave daddy diaper to put on for stuffed animals. Even push them to nurse on mommy. 

15-16/10/2016: weekend with grandparents

On Sat grandparents and daddy went to Uni reunion. Mom went for face treatment. 

Spent noon napping with Boom. Then mom had to go to wedding. Daddy gave Boom a bath. Played with grandpa Minh in the evening then grandpa went for tango. Watched a lot of Youtube. Nursed to sleep.

Sunday mim stayed home all day. Went to megamall twice in the morning wih mom and Ms Tuong and then in the evening with parents. He pointed to the escalator and would cry if we not oblidge. Once there, he even demanded to go one more level down and pointed to places and things we wanted. Had a hard time getting him out, especially he would cry when we passed the games arcade. Did not watch much Youtube today.

Was so sleepy at noon and fell asleep. Parents gave Boom a haircut. Daddy bathed him. Grandparents left for the airport.

Note: play make believe with stuffed animals: feeding a bottle (although he refuaed himself), wiping mouth, nasal drop, brush teeth, dressing and diaperjng. If mom nurse the toy he would push the toy away of jealousy. The same with daddy.

14/10/2016: pizza 4p, walk around the lake, grandpa Minh arrived

Woke up at 8:15, late for class again. Cried a bit when grandma and Ms Tuong drop off.

Fell asleep while waiting for mom in the afternoon. Family late 1 hr for reservation. Had to eat quickly, seating very bad. Boom did not eat much. Slip and bumped his face into the table, luckily did not bleed.

Went out for a walk but had a bad time:

- fell into the road and bruised his forehead

- wanted to ride on the toy car but daddy didn't let so cry the whole time, had to distract him with dogs

- waited street performers and wanted to give money zillion times, mommy had to give him receipt instead 

Went home and played with grandpa. Grandparents watch loud TV, BOOm played and did not nurse to sleep until 11pm. 

13/10/2016: back to school, grandma Hang visit Hanoi

Fever again close to bedtime. Woke up very late at 9:15AM, went to school. 

Grandma Hang arrived in the afternoon. Was very happy with grandma at home. Showed his toys, looked at her things, played downstairs.

Went to bed late at 9:30PM. A bit fever again. 

11-12/10/2016: sick with high fever

Started to have a fever on the way to school on Monday. Had to go abck home. Stayed home with Ms Tuong.

High fever again last night but continued sleeping. Mom had to stay home today. Cling to mommy the whole day and watched TV. Was OK during the day but fever again in the afternoon.

Still active and pooped a lot. Did not eat or drink much. 

Knows everything. Play with stuff animals and wear clothes, diaper, brush teeth, feed, wipe for the animal. 

Turn switch on and off for light and look up to see which one is on. 

Brings shoes for each person to wear before going out.  

Pulls his suitcase and remind Ms Tuong to attach water bottle to the outside pocket. 

8-9/10/2016: fun weekend

Still got runny nose. Slight fever.

Nursed a lot at night. Mom had sore nipples. Woke up too early in the morning.

Mom went for facial on Sat and Sun morning.

Sat: short morning nap and long noon nap. Bath with daddy, touched his penis and wet the bed. Had fun at Ecopark with Voi's family. Did not eat much. Passed by Tan Mai to collect things from BD. Was a bit fussy on the way back. Enjoyed his new suitcase.

Sun: long nap. Dad away all day for college reunion. Went swimming in doors with mom. Did not like new float. Only wanted to climb up and down. Went to bed late at 9:30.

Lokes handing money to vendors with both hands and receiving change and give back to mom. Pays taxi driver every day on the way back from school. 

10/10/2016: new week at school

Still nursed a lot at night. Refused pacifier. Even actively look for breast and climb on top of mommy to pull dress down. 

Got up later at 7:15, big improvement. 

Sáng nay Boom gặp Aura ở lobby, Aura vuốt má Boom và 2 bạn cười toe toét. Mọi người xung quanh đều cười.

Enjoys bringing his suitcase to school but cried a bit when daddy left. Really proud of his new suitcase. 

Mommy took new baby toothbrush out, he enjoys brushing his own teeth. 

Everyday wait for mommy to come home downstairs.

7/10/2016: got better

Got better but nursed more often at night, each time on both sides. He would nurse, turn around to sleep and then turn back to look for the breast again. Got up very early this week, often at 6AM. Before that he used to get up at 7:30, 8AM.

Always puts his shoes back in the right place. Puts mommy's breast pad back into the bra. Would come back and fix if something is not upright. Loves playing with golf club, rackets. Copies adults. 

Likes playing in the playpen: throwing balls out. Very fast.

Watches daddy play tennis but has a very shy smile. 

6/10/2016: still cough a little

Sleeps from 8pm-6am these past few days. Wakes up so early. 

Happy at school. No more medicine but still has runny nose and cough a little.

Each time he comes home, mom help takes off sandals and he would put them neatly on the shelf. He's a grown up now.

However, he wants to open every package or bottle. 

Start to force him to drink formula everyday before bed so he would be more full but still nursed all night. 

2-5/10/2016: got better, back to school

Got better. Finished 5 days of antibiotics. Still coughed at night while sleeping but got better. Still nursed a lot at night. Wakes up very early in the mornjng. 

Back to school and enjoyed going to school. Learned about eyes, ears, nose. Still drinks some milk at school but does not drink much at home. 

Today tried to open formula can and spoon feed/ syringe feed him so he can be full before bedtime but still had to nurse. 

Boom bây giờ biết hết mọi thứ. Còn biết dép của ai là của ai. Mỗi lần Boom muốn đi chơi là ra chỗ để giày cầm dép của từng người mang đến cho người đó để đi. Rồi lấy dép của mình để nhờ đi hộ. Rồi đi về là biết cởi dép cất lên giá.

28, 29/9, 1/10/16: poor little boy

Poor little boy got worse Thu night. Went to the doctor on Fri morning and had to take antibiotics. Stayed on home on Fri. 

On Saturday while he was playing, slipped on the rug and hit his forehead onto the floor. Cried a lot and had a bump on his head. Refused ice packs. Stopped crying and fell asleep. Nursed 

Mommy felt so bad and stressed.

Would stand up dancing to music on TV. Loves to joke and make fun. Wants company while watching TV. Would look to see if there is any reaction

when crying also test for reaction. When he hurt a part of his body, he wants attention to touch and soothe the pain. He's so funny. 

28-29/8/2016: anniversary dinner, car ride with Aura

Hôm nay Boom đi nhờ xe Aura đi học. Ban đầu còn ngượng ngùng nép vào cô Tưởng, sau đó quay qua Aura cười. Tuy nhiên dọc đường Boom đánh rắm tum tủm thối om rất xấu hổ và đến trường thì ị 1 bọc to đùng!

Daddy picked Boom up from achool early to go to Mamma Mia for dinner. Boom was fussy. Enjoyed supermarket and looking around the restaurant. Restaurant really expensive. Overall, did not enjoy much.

Today Boom did not bring his bag downstairs in the morning so missed opp to car ride with Aura. Aura cried when Boom could not join. Boom said "o", confused why he could not go.

Still coughing and runny nose.

25-27/7/2016: got better, happy to see Aura

Got better but still coughing while sleeping. Spit up once. Could not go swimming this weekend. 

Went to Bin's house to hang out with Stella. Bin and Stella fighting over toys. Boom went home early to sleep. 

Boom happy at school. Much smarter than his friends. Always smiles at the camera. Was unhappy during gym time but face lit up when he saw Aura. They were happy to see each other at the lobby and at school. 

Mom very disappointed about Dad forgetting first date anniversary.
