31/5/2017: 29 nights, trip to HCM, sleep with mommy again

Woke up at 5 due to itchiness. Survived 1 month sleeping without mommy successfully. Has not asked to nurse for 3 weeks! 

Had a good trip to HCM. Behaved well. Pushed his own suitcase and walked most of the time. Did not bring stroller this time. Watched a bit Youtube but napped most of the flight.

Was very happy to see grandparents. Played all afternoon with grandma Hang. Ate Ok. Grandma Hang gave Boom a bath. He really enjoyed it.

Went for evening walk with grandparents and the dog. Was very sleepy because he did not have enough sleep today. After bedtime routine, lie in bed while mommy and daddy comforted, told

Him a bedtime story and sang some songs. Fell asleep at 9:30. Tonight will be first night sleeping with parents again.

Ms Tuong has successfully trained him to slwep through the night, weaned and also slept without nursing or rocking to sleep. He can now sleep lying in bed by singing or talking. What a big improvement! Should have tried earliwr! 

30/5/2017: 28 nights

Woke up early at 6 due to itchiness. Mosquito bite still swollen and itchy. He'a very uncomfortable.

Pointed to daddy's shirt and said "Green clothe" but daddy did not understand so had fo translate to "green áo" for daddy

Had a good day. Cried a bit in the evening so daddy had to comfort Boom to sleep. Went to sleep at 9:30. Had been sleeping at this time since weaning. Will have to try to push his bedtime earlier eventually. He has been getting 1-2 hours less sleep than required.

29/5/2017: 27 nights, 3 weeks, professional grocery shopping

27 nights. Slept from 9:30-8. Walked out of the room and yelled in delight to see mommy.

3 weeks of complete weaning.

Nowadays have to force him to brush teeth. He's always trying to avoid.

Had diaper full of shit upon pick up from school.

Happy evening with mommy. Went to collect daddy's piano deposit. Boom walked the whole way to and from

And was very happy.

Mom let Boom go into Kmart. Boom walked around and picked up 1 bag of potato chips and walked to the counter to put it on the counter for checkout. It was shocking how much he knows! He did it automatically without any hesitation. Unfortunately he picked a very expensive snack.

A bit fussy when mom left the room. Always trying to prolong bedtime reading. But later was happy talking with Ms Tuong until he fell asleep at 9:30.

28/5/2017: skin doctor

Slept from

10-7. Since night weaning, his night time sleep has increased to up to 9-10 hours per night but never 10-12 hours like before. His total sleep has been about 2 hours less per day compared to before. However he has been able to go long stretches at night, waking up less.

Last night he woke up because of itchiness and swollen hands on the insect bite area. Ms T had to rub his hands and comfort him back to sleep.

In the morning parents took Boom to Hong Ngoc hospital to see the doctor but only got some common medicine. Boom ate snack at the hospital cafe happily.

Went to Highlands coffee to meet Mr Tinh. Boom was very happy drinking matcha. Pooped there. Had to wipe.

Went home had some lunch and napped for almost 2 hours.

Woke up a bit fussy. Went swimming with daddy. 

Played all evening with mommy. Video called both grandparents. Grandma Ly is sick. 

Went to sleep at past 9. Every time 

27/5/2017: 25 nights, failed first performance, pizza 4p's

Slept well from 9:30-7. 

Rushed to Performance hall for Boom's school year end performance. However Boom hated it. Did not want to leave mommy. Cried the whole time. Did not perform.

Family went to city center. Boom pooped on the way. Had to stop by TQT to wash ass. Got food from Mrs Huyen.

Ate at pizza 4p's. Boom ate well. Had to watch Youtube to sit still.

Almost fell asleep on the way home. Ms Tuong was really sick. 

Howwver wide awake upon returning home. Pooped again. Played with mommy from 1:15-3. Watched Youtube on the phone then fell asleep. Terrible! Messed up schedule. Really late nap. Should had napped at 1.

Napped from 3-5. Went swimming outdoors with daddy.

Went home and ate well. Daddy went out. Mommy played with Boom until 10. Cried when mommy left the room. Fell asleep quickly. 

26/5/2017: 24 nights - slept wel, field trip today

Slept from 9:15-7:30 (10 hours) with no peep! 

Went to school and had a field trip to Cau Giay Park. Practice for I am a music man performance in the afternoon.

Had fun at home in the evening with mom. Did not cry at bedtime.

- Lazy about brushing teeth. Only wants to taste the toothpaste 

- lazy about peeing

- fluent in numbers and colors

25/5/1017: 23 nights - 10 hours straights!

10 hours straight from 10-8! Went to school happily.

Had a good evening. Still clingy to mommy. Watched a little bit Tv. Read books with mom and dad. Pooped twice. Ate a lot and spit up a bit because he was too full.

Wanted to stay with mommy all the time. Cried when mommy left the room. But fell asleep quickly at 9:15 ish. 

24/5/2017: 22 nights - still night waking

Woke up at 2 asking for Tv. After some fussing, went to bed again. Woke up at 6:30 but toss and turn in bed until 7:30.

A bit fussy during drop off.

Clingy to mommy in the evening. Watched too much TV. 

Went to bed really late at 10 after mkmmy sneaked out of the room.

23/5/2017: 21 nights, good. Grandpa Minh visit.

Slept from 9-6. Can fall asleep on his own after reading books and rolling around the bed for awhile.

A bit clingy to mommy in the morning but mom had to go for driving lessons.

Had a good day at school. Clingy to teacher Abbie when parting ways. Teacher had to return to hug Boom.

Grandpa Minh visit. Boom was really happy and played well with grandpa. However, spent most of the time watching TV while eating. Fussy at mom's dinner time and bath time. Cried when grandpa Minh left.

Yawned but crying when he had to go into the bedroom. Fell asleep after awhile.

22/5/2017: 20th night - sleep through the night, fussy evening, still misses buti

Slept from 9-7. Toss and turn and talked in his sleep but did not wake up.

Fussy getting out the door but happy on the way to school with Elliot and Ismaya. Kept asking to candies.

Fussy in the afternoon home from school because he wanted to get his classmate's toy car.

Did not eat much and wanted candies. Mom had to take Boom downstairs to the minimart to buy some. Ate better after returning home but mom and Ms Tuong spent most of the evening running after him and feeding him.

Was happy at bedtime. Did not cry. Went to sleep at 9. 

14 days without nursing but still wants to buti. Does not attempt to but tried to touch and ask for Boom buti and was fussy, sad... mom felt so sad. 

21/5/2017: 19th night - night waking again, haircut and swimming

Woke up crying and fussy from 2AM-4AM. Slept again until 8AM.

13 days without nursing.

Neighbor Mun visit so Boom stayed home in the morning. Ate sticky rice, drank orange juice. Played with Mun, watched TV. Drank milk. Ate lunch. 

Took almost 2 hours nap on time. Went downstairs to play and swimming with daddy. It's the first time Boom used a float and he was much more confident. We tried giving it to him a few months ago but he hated it.

Daddy gave Boom a haircut. Boom was playing so wasn't crying but did not like it.

Ate well. Drank milk.

Pooped twice sitting on the potty seat in the toilet. 

Played with mommy throughout the evening. Mommy was finally able to slip out so Boom can sleep with Ms Tuong. Went to bed at past 9. Since night weaning, he hasn't been to bed on time from 8-9PM, always later than 9PM.

20/5/2017: 18th night - slept through the night

Slept from 10PM-6AM. Yay!

Had a fun day going to the megamall and hanging around.

Mom went to the Japanese International School open house.

Fell asleep at 10:45AM but woke up at noon when mommy came home.

Ate and played with mom and Ms Tuong until 2PM.

Went to the megamall and supermarket with Ms Tuong but fell asleep in the stroller for 1 hour.

Went home and took a bath with daddy in the bath tube.

Jumped on mom's watch box and broke the glass. Slightly cut his foot. Mom cleaned up and put a bandage on. Boom pointed to it and said "Boom đau" then pointed to mom's breast and said "Ti mommy đau. Mommy dán". So he made he connection and remembers when mom applief bandage on the nipples and said they are hurt to prevent him from nursing. He did not ask to nursex

Went to sleep late at 10, was fussy, asking for mommy. Mommy felt so bad.

19/5/2017: 17th night - 3rd night of night waking relapse

Woke up for 2 hours crying and fussy from 2:30-4:30AM. It had been 17 days of night weaning. He was terrible the first few days, got better. Was wonderfully sleeping through the night for 3 nights. Now he is waking up once per night for the past 3 nights for 1-2 hours.

Has not nursed for 11 days! Sometimes still miss the breast and ask for buti at night. 

Woke up finding nobody in the room, stood at the door and cried and mommy opened the door to hug Boom.

Went to school ok. Happy and did not cry.

Happy at home in the evening. After Dinner and bath, knew that mommy was in the room so stood out the door and cried for mommy to open.

Has been enjoying fruits such as lychee, watermelon...

Went to bed at 10. Parents had guest coming to visit late in the evening from 10-12AM.

18/5/2017: 16th night - still wants buti

Has not nursed for 10 days. Did not sleep so well. 2 days relapse. Slept 9PM-8AM. Fussy from 11-3. Woke up from 3-3:30. Kept mentioning buti and looking for ti.

Rushed to school but school trip canceled because of the rain. Fussy and cried during drop off.

Happy in the evening. Ate well.

When mommy said mom's sick, he ran to get the doctor kid and started examining mommy, giving injections, feeling the forehead. It was wonderful. But when daddy said he was sick, Boom refused. 

Wanted mommy to hug and comfort Boom before bedtime. Asked to buti but mom had to distract. When mommy left the bedroom, he was a bit fussy. Mom felt so bad but had to leave so he can fully wean. 

Went to bed at 9:15 as isual.

17/5/2017: 15th night - back track, fish died

Woke up twice and once for 1.5 hours asking to buti mommy. Throughout the night kept saying "ti". Mom felt so bad. However slept from 3-9AM. Went to school happily but missed breakfast.

Fish found dead in the tank this morning. Mom heartbroken and felt bad. Fish must have suffered in pain. It's painful to see him die but cannot do anything. Felt guilty that we could not do more or take better care of him.

Boom is too young to understand and did not notice fish missing upon returning home.

Had fun and ate well at home but watched too much TV. pooped a big one.

Went downstairs for a walk with mom and Ms Tuong. Went home to read books wirh mom and drank milk well.

Fussy about brushing teeth. A bit fussy and crying at bedtime when mom left the room. 

16/5/2017: 14th night - almost 10 hours

Slept almost 10 hours from 9:15 to 7. Woke up and walk to the kitchen to find Tuong happily. A bit fussy during nursery drop off.

Fish does not seem fine. Mommy's so worried and sad.

Ate ok at home. But was distracted by the lychees. Loves eating lychee. Drank a lot of milk. 

Wet his underwear and cried. The pooped. Luckily daddy brought him to the potty on time. Also produced a very heavy diaper. 

Cried when mommy brush teeth for him and started asking to buti. Still wants to buti whenever he is hurt or frustrated. So far has gone 8 days without nursing. Ms Tuong had to distract him. Mom felt heartbroken when hearing his cries.

Went to bed earlier at past 9.

15/5/2017: 13th night, 7 days weaning

Slept 9 hours straight without any fuss from 10-7. Was happy in the morning but fussy during drop off.

Ate well in the evening. Even ate speing rolls, drank milk twice and drank corn milk. 

Loves counting. Still asks to watch a lot of TV. 

Mommy read books for Boom. Boom was very funny, trying to hide and showing that he's scared when seeing snake, spider, lion... 

Mom went out of the room easily. Boom stayed to read books with Ms Tuong and went to bed (earlier than other days since weaning) at 9:15. But still later than his usual bedtime of 8:30.

Has gone 7 full days without nursing. Luckily mom's breast is soft and not engorged at all,

14/5/2017: 12th night - slept through the night, attend Sumo's birthday

Slept from 9:30-6 (8.5 hours). Toss and turn a bit but did not wake up. This is his longest stretch so far. Yay! However, he is getting less sleep than before so still have to work on extending his night time sleep to 11 hours like when he was nursing at night.

Was fussy in the morning with mommy. Wanted to buti. Has been doing well for 6 days without buti. Ms Tuong had to bring Boom downstairs. Cried on the way but got better. Went to buy xoi again. Ate and played in the lobby. Went to the supermarket to try free samples. Drank milk.

Did not eat much lunch at home. Went to bed on time at 12:30, much better than other weekends. Slept soundly for 3 hours!

Woke up and play and went swimming again. But only for 15'. Was a bit cold outside. Kept wanting mom to carry him "Mommy bế Boom". Did not want to take a shower with daddy so Ms Tuong had to give Boom a bath. Ate dinner then went downstairs to Sumo's house to attend his birthday party. Was the first to arrive at 7 but left early at 9 when the other kids just arrived because it's bedtime. Had a good time. Clapped hands when people sang Happy birthday song. 

Went home to drink milk, read books and went to sleep at 10.

Knows a lot more than parents think. Don't know where he learnt those, from Youtube or school:

- saw balloons and said "Happy birthday"

- when he sees snake, spider, lions in the books, he would squirm, cover his face, laugh and said "Boom scared" although no one taught him that those 

- knows to call "Boom pee pee" most of the time but still does not call when he need to poop

13/5/2017: 11th night, Saturday at home, swimming, 1 successful poop and 1 accident

Woke up once at midnight. Then slept until 6. But toss and turn a lot. Did not sleep as well as other nights.

Played downstairs and went to supermarket. Ate sticky rice. 

Went home and ate some meat. Mom bought pizza and spaghetti but Boom did not enjoy. 

Managed to poop sitting in the Boom potty.

Nap with Ms Tuong. Slept for almost 3 hours.

Went swimming outdoors with daddy. Was a bit cold but enjoyed it. However did not want to shower with daddy upon returning home so Ms T had to give Boom a bath.

Boom only wore underwear and had a poopy accident!

Ate dinner well but was so clingy to mommy. Did not let Mommy eat. Played with parents, read books.

Then went into the bedroom with Ms Tuonf and fell alseep

After almost 1 hour at 9:30

12/5/2017: good 10th night, fussy with mommy

Also slept well. Woke up once to pee. However woke up for good at 6:10. Since weaning, Boom has made improvments but only slept 9 hours as opposed to 11 hours at night. Therefore these days he is lacking enough sleep. Hoping he will continue to improve.

Was fussy in the morning because he saw mommy. Mom brought him to school and he cried. It was heartbreaking.

Ate well in the evening. Fussy again when he saw mommy. Would not let mommy eat dinner. Fussy during bedtime routine. Wants this and that. Ms Tuong was able to distract Boom and Boom went to slepe at 9, earlier then usual since weaning. 

Managed 4 days without nursing! Broke a new record. Did not ask to nurse but this morning touch Mom's nipples. 

11/5/2017: wonderful 9th night, used to sleeping with Ms T, 3 days no nursing

Wonderful night last night. Fell asleep after talking with Ms Tuong. Slept for 5 hours peacefully. Woke up briefly and was fussy, went pee pee and went back to sleep. Slept until 7 again.

Went to bed early. Was a bit fussy.

Ate well in the evening. Drank milk twice each time 150ml. Did not ask to nurse. Another 3 days without nursing.

Always kisses mommy passionately. Would kiss mommy intentionally when daddy asks Boom to kiss. Does not want daddy to read books or lie next to Boom.

Watched some Youtube but not addicted. Played cars, cooking with mommy. Video call with Grandma Ly and grandparents Minh Hang.

- really enjoyed talking to grandparents. Would give them drinks and pretend food to eat, show them cars

- sing songs

- does not want to hang up. Kept asking to call them again and again

- smile shyly

- ask for ong Minh

- happy to see dog 

- intentionally give wrong answers to questions about colors or numbers 

Now Boom is very used to sleeping with Ms Tuong. Does not want daddy to rock to sleep. Does not cry when mommy leaves the room. 

10/5/2017: still night waking - 8th night

Slept from 9:20-2:30 (5 hours) then 4-8 (4 hours). Did not toss and turn. However, still have at least 1 long night waking since weaning. Still a big improvement from the first night: woke up every hour, then every 2 hours, then 4 hours but with lots of toss and turn, now 5 hours without fussing

Cried a bit during drop off.

Went home and played downstairs in the playground until 6. Played with daddy at home, took a bath, sang a song (he can sing 2 long songs "twinkle little star" and "5 little monkeys", pooped in the Boom potty. 

Mom and dad managed to eat dinner peacefully. Boom paused a bit when seeing mom's swollen eyes but was not scared. Mom explained that mom is hurt.

Mommy took over bedtime routine: played with Boom, read books, drink milk, water, brush teeth, drink cough medicine, clean face, change shirt... went into the bedroom and sneaked out. Boom stayed with Ms Tuong and went to sleep at 9:45

- enjoyed the new bedroom setting of 2 new mattress. Parents gave the bed and old mattress to Ms Tam

- not as clingy to mommy 

- did not ask to nurse for the past 2 days, so far went by 24 hours... 

- seem to enjoy bedtime with Ms Tuong. Does mot need parents anymore

9/5/1017: 7th night, mom's eye surgery

Boom Slept for 6 hours until 6:30 and played in bed until going to school. Boom

Complated 7 days sleeping without mommy. Big improvement but still does not have a continuous sleep. Would wake up fully at least once for 30-1.5 hours and longest stretch is 5-7 hours with lots of toss and turn and comforting in bed. 

Will probably have to continue training for at least 1 week. Record of no nursing is 3 days but got to nurse yesterday 8-May. Will have to fully wean from now on.

For the first time in 2 years mom got to sleep and rest fully at night. Felt so much better. 

This morning mom went to hospital for eye surgery. Will have to rest for a few days.

Boom went to supermarket after schoolz even knows to ask Tuong to withdraw money frlm the ATM to go shopping.

Played happily with daddy at home. Did not ask for mommy or ask to nurse. Saw mommy and was a bit surprised but adjusted quickly. Mommy explained mommy's hurt. Boom tried to touch the bandage. Mom asked Boom to check up for mom so Boom took the doctor set out and played with mom and dad. 

Spent a lot of time reading books with mom. Even asked to brush teeth when reading about brushing teeth. Asked mom and dad to lie down with him. However started crying when it's time to sleep. Mom hugged Boom then Boom transfered to Ms Tuong. Boom

Talked with Ms Tuong for awhile then fell asleep at 9:30-10

8/5/2017: dreaming of cars on 6th night - 7 hour stretch, 3 days without nursing

Woke up briefly at midnight. Managed to sleep for 7 hours but toss and turn a lot and kept saying "oto Boom dau". Asked for oto the moment he woke up.

Cried a bit during drop off. He understands the concept of buying things. Knows that we have to checkoit and pay money. Kept asking Tuong to "mua di" and bring money. Every day wants to go to the supermarket to buy candies.

Was happy in the afternoon. Went to Vinmart to collect prize (won a veggie basket).

Managed 3 days without nursing but mom let Boom nursed a bit in the evening thinking after mom's eye surgery don't know what will happen. 

Daddy read books and played with Boom from 8-9 and rocked Boom to sleep. Boom slept for 1.5 hours and then woke up until midnight. Kept asking to go out, get food, drink milk etc. 

7/5/2017: 5 hour stretch on 5th night, new car toy

Slept from 10:30pm-3:30AM. Slight improvement from 4 to 5 hour stretch compared to last night. Woke up sleepy but fussy until 5AM. Went on to sleep well until 9AM.

Went for brunch at My way with parents and cousins. Mom had to turn on Youtube for Boom to sit and watch in the high chair. Boom ate spaghetti well.

Went home and refused to eat but drank some milk.

Fell asleep with Ms Tuong after some toss and turn. Nap for 1.5 hours.

Did not eat upon waking up. Went to play downstairs. Mom then let Boom choose a new car to buy since he lost his favorite:

He went into the store looking at different cars. Picked up one. But then saw another one so put back the old one. Brought the toy to the counter and paid. So happy and walked out of the store carrying hos shopping bag. Then could not wait and had to open the box on tje way, started to play with the cars and could hardly walk home. 

Went home and spent most of the evening playing with the new car. 

Did not want to go swimming. At least he ate well (probably because he was hungry). 

Boom can sing at least 2 lonf songs: twinkle little star and 5 little monkeys. It was wonderful to see him sing and dance. 

Daddy rocked Boom to sleep but Boom was fussy. Daddy was quite frustrated. Ms Tuong took over. Boom was crying for mommy and fussy for over 1.5 hour. Went to bed at 10:40PM.

6/5/2017: 4th night backtrack, missing favorite car

Another day of lack of sleep.

Slept for 1 hour. Woke up and play until 1AM. Was really sleepy and yawning but could not fall back asleep. Kept playing, talking, singing. Can sing a full "twinkle twinkle little star song".

Slept from 1-5AM and woke up again. Was fussy for 1-2 hours. Would not sleep again. Did not eat anything, only drank some juice. Finally was content playing with cars. Kept asking for his "red car" but no car could satisfy him. Seems like he was looking for a specific favorite car that was missing. It was the car grandparents bought in Malaysia. Mom looked around and called around but couldn't find it. 

Went to the square and supermarket with mom and Ms Tuong. Ate free food. Went home and ate xôi. Was wide awake and not sleepy all morning. Managed to nap for 2 hours.

Went swimming in the afternoon with parents. Ate well. Went downstairs to play again with Ms Tuong and drank milk. 

Went home and continued playing with cars. Resisted brushing teeth. Pooped 3 times. Daddy got Boom to sleep at almost 10 but Boom woke up immediately and asked daddy to go out. Ms Tuong had to go in to play with Boom. Talked and toss and turn for awhile and fell back asleep at 10:30.

5/5/2017: big improvement 3rd night

This time mom had to sleep in another room. Slept from 10-7. Boom woke up 4 times but only briefly. Only need to pat and say "sleep" and after some toss and turn he managed to get back to sleep. Did not have to pick up. That was a huge improvement! Woke up early at 7.

Did not cry at school. Had fun in the afternoon. Ate well since night weaning. Ate lots of shrimp work 100K for the past 2 days.

Enjoys reading books, playing with new cars and going for a walk with mommy. Looked at the sky, moon and stars.

Nursed a bit in the evening. 

Went to bed earlier at 9:15 today. Daddy got Boom to sleep. Mommy tried but Boom kept pointing to lie on the bed so Boom can nurse. It was heartbreaking to refuse him. But mom felt better when he fell asleep quickly with daddy. However, woke up after 1 hour and would not sleep again 3 hours later. Had only 9.5 hours of sleep.

Has been nursing once every 24hrs. The longest he went was 36 hours (since morning to next evening).

4/5/2017: better 2nd night, new truck from grandparents

2nd night was better. Woke up 4 times. Cried and had to rock back to sleep. Found out mommy was lying on the floor, mom had to sneak out. 

Mom left early in the morning so did not nurse upon waking up. Was a bit fussy and crying going to school.

Was OK during the day. Happy to see mommy. Was happy playing with new toy truck grandparents bought in Italy. Refused to stop to pee. 

Nursed a couple of times in the evening. Speng a lot of time reading books. Especially new bedtime routine books and "no buti at night" book. However Boom still protested brushing teeth. Daddy got Boom to sleep a bit earlier at almost 10 after some protesting.

3/5/2017: terrible 1st night but OK during the day

Boom woke up every hour. Ms Tuong had to keep comforting him. Did not nurse all night. Was painful to hear him cry for mommy. 

But woke up happy. Even knows that "daddy pee pee" in the morning.

Mom let Boom nurse a little bit in the morning. Late for school. Wanted to ride his bike to school. Fussy during drop off and cried when Ms Tuong left.

Was happy in the afternoon. Ate well. Mom and Boom went for a walk in the square. Visited daddy at the coffee shop. Daddy was working on the Boom potty. 

Went home and read book, drank milk. Did not want to brush teeth. Can pee pee but doesn't like it. Would only go because he gets to flush the toilet and wash hands. Mom had to use all kinds of books to get him to do things. Did not want to nurse all evening until bedtime. Bedtime routine started at 8 but dragged for 2 hours. He kept avoiding sleep:

- running around playing

- pretending to lie down and sleep

- bossing ppeople around: pointing fingers for Tuong to go away "di ngu di" and mommy to lie in bed

- asked to eat apple

- asked to watch TV

- refused sleep "NO"

Daddy finally had to get him from mommy and he cried a bit. Fell asleep after a few minutes at 10pm.

He understands everything and is very smart. Can read numbers and knows colors. 

Hope that tonight will be better than last night.

2/5/2017: lazy breastfeeding day, first night of weaning

Back to breastfeeding addict after a few vacation days with mommy. Every time Boom was weaned during the day for a week, he went back to addiction when traveling, without Ms Tuong's help, especially during car rides.

The night weaning method did not work. Boom now nurses more often but only a couple of minutes. Mom's breast flat and has almost no milk since trying to put on the black medicine and urgo.

Boom woke up late. Read book, played, ate lunch. Mom had to nurse to sleep and during sleep. Would not let Ms Tuong rock to sleep.

Slept a lot for 3 hours but nursed constantly. 

Went swimming but would not leave mommy.

Ate dinner OK while mom read books. Obsessed with reading books. Mom had to read books all day for Boom. Pointed to the big bed and said it's Boom's "own bed". Pushed Tuong away and sai Tuong "sleeping di". Whenever asked to kiss someone, he would turn to mommy to kiss mommy intentionally. 

Can read numbers! Parents were taken by surprise when reading books and Boom saw a few numbers and knew which is which! 

Tonight Ms Tuong will try to sleep with Boom to wean him. Would not go to sleep until midnight. Daddy and Ms T took turns comforting him to sleep but he cried for 1 hour because he wanted mommy and wanted to nurse. Terrible late night sleeping and long noon nap habbit these past 4 days.

1/5/2017: back to Hanoi

Boom Woke up really early. Played in the morning with grandparents then left for Hanoi after early lunch. Luckily he napped in the carseat the whole way. Daddy got caught by police twice.

Arrived in Hanoi early at 1:15. Ms Tuong will not come back until tomorrow morning. Mom played with Boom. Boom pooped but refused to wash ass. Took some crying and persuading. But he likes flushing the toilet and washing hands afterwards.

Leave until he got wrinked fingers. Having lots of improvements.

Took a nap after taking a bath and nursing. Mom managed to do some housework. Did not want to wake up for dinner. Only woke up when mommy carried Boom to the car. Relaxed on the car ride. Will go to bed late again :(

Had fun in TQT. Ate some birds and lobster. Ate ice cream. Went up to feed Bong the cat twice. Loves caressing Bong. Even offered to let Bong play car with him. Knows to wash hands, dry his hands and turn off the lights.

Loves looking at the dogs. But a bit scared when they got too close or too fast. 

Drank milk on the way home. Went home and ate some apples. Read new books with daddy (uncle Hai Anh brought from the US).

Went to bed late at almost 12. Terrible low total sleep today: only 9.5 hours.
