29/4/2016: 15th school day, cake for teachers, very sleepy evening

Woke up ealey at 6 after 10 hours sleep. Pooped. Daddy grumpy about not being ablw to go play tennis. Took Boom to school early. Boom indifference during car ride. Cried a bit during handover but stopped and sat down to eat breakfast. 

Mom watched the camera a bit but Boom seemed fine. Except that teachers kept him awake too long and did not change diaper until end of morning.

Teachers seemed wary of mom's complaint so in the afternoon mom brought cake as gift to make teachers happy. Will have 4 day weekend.

Spent the day doing some errands. Prepared some food to bring to HBx Boom was sleepy during picked up but had to keep him awake until 7. Was always fussy during taxi ride home. Played a bit in the playground, took bath, had dinner, refused walk in the stroller. Tossed and turned and nursed on the bed and fell asleep at 7:45. Daddy came home late, had dinner alone but managed to see Boom for a few minutes.

Notes:

Turn around whenever he hears asoind, even when nursing. Especially phone ring, as if it's for him.

Tomorrow have to go to Hoa Binh. 4 day weekend. 

Seems confident and active.

3rd day of early bedtime and self sleeping.

Eats so much at school, he doesn't drink much milk. 

Mom can pump 3 bottles while he drinks 2. 

Always fussy on car ride home. Diffifcult without car seat. With new carseat, would sit still in the morning during car ride.

30/4/2016: holiday in Hoa Binh. Can wave good bye!

Refused the carseat and was active the whole car ride because he has no comfortable position to fall asleep. Finally nursed and fell asleep when we almost got there.

More outgoing and friendly. Likes to play with cousins but doesn't want to be carried. 

Went to bed late. Daddy went out for school reunion the whole day. Mommy's mad. Sat in portable chair to eat lunch and dinner but didn't eat much. 

Crawl in a hurry whenever he wants to get somewhere and sometimes tumble on his face

Bang and throw things for pleasure

Press remote and look around to see which thing would move. Loves the fan and curtain remote. Can turn on and off fhe light. 

Likes people but doesn't like to be held by strangers

Cried when cousins left the room

Wave goodbye to cousins and aunts!!!

28/4/2016: 14th day, sad face, mom's complaint

Slept for 12 hours last night. So maybe from now can drop evening catnap and let Boom sleep earlier. However family will have to eat dinner and go for a walk earlier.

Boom can go to school alone with daddy but has such a sad face during the ride to school and whined and held on to dad so dad felt so bad and worried. Ask mom to go watch the camera this afternoon and tomorrow morning to see if Boom is happy and active at school. But it's hard to see, just based on teacher's words.

Mom made some complaints to school but felt bad because it might affect the teachers. Will have to buy some gifts for teachers tomorrow.

Mom spent time editing CV and looking back at Boom's pictures, so cute. Also called the insect distinguisher.

Spent the afternoon watching camera ar Boom's school.

Went home to pump, Boom took a bath, played in the playground (was very active), had dinner, took a walk (had to carry home half way)

After 45' of nursing and toss and turn, fell adleep at 8.

These days Boom can fall asleep easier and many times by himeself. Maybe thanks to going to school. Teacher said ar school he falls asleep on his own. 

27/4/2016: woke up too early, 13th day at school, fell asleep during evening walk 7PM

Woke up too early at 5:30, took mommy more than 1 hr to get Boom back to sleep for a little bit more. Daddy went to play tennis, mommy is mad.

Dad took Boom to school by himself for the first time so mom stayed at home to do some business research and sort the house.

In the afternoon mom showed Ms Tuong how to take taxi to pick up Boom. Teacher said Boom happy but maybe mom needs to check the camera to make sure. There are a few things about the school that mom doesn't like.

Boom was not sleepy so took bath and went to play, had dinner. 

Mom took Boom on evening walk at 7, boom kneeled over in the stroller, mom thought Boom was looking at the floor but after a few minutes checking and saw that he fell asleep sitting. Mom felt so bad. Poot little boy! Took Boom upstairs and brought into bed to nurse to continue sleeping.

26/4/2016: woke up too early, 12th day at school, fell asleep on his own.

Was fussy and nursed many times at night. Woke up too early at 5:45 to poop. Was sleepy when about to leave for school. Took 3 naps at school, sleeping when mom

And dad picked up.

Mom was able to visit some schools and see some friends these days.

Had bath, dinner, played and took an evening walk. 

Dad accompanied mom when droping and picking Boom up, dad felt so bad to see Boom cry. 

Fell asleep on his own on the bed after nursing and mom singing and rolling around. What a miracle! 

Knows when it's time to sleep and tries to hide/ avoid. 

Tries to nurse like an addict every day getting home from school.

Enjoys the new car seat. Can look around.

25/4/2016: 11th day at school, happy

Woke up very early, went to school in time for breakfast. Still whimpered a bit during drop off. Ate a lot. Was sleeping on the bed when mommy came to pick up so mom waited for awhile. Always fussy on the taxi ride back and wanted to pull mom's shirt to nurse.

Went home to play downstairs, took bath, had dinner, big poop. Nursed quite a few times while playing. Was really sleepy and fell asleep easily at 8:30.

Daddy went for dinner with tennis team.

Never bored. Go from room to room, explore everything. Loves switches and buttons. Loves to play with roomba but scared when he started moving. 

24/4/2016: long Sunday noon nap, good total sleep

Big poop early morning.

Ms Lynn came over for lunch.

Even though Boom at home but mom pumped twice to get more milk. 

Had a long noon nap so skipped afternoon catnap. Went to play downstairs. Boom knows everybody here and has a very active social life.

Dad and mom installed car seat and played ping pong.

Boom can hold the straw cup to drink water by himself.

Was able to play in playard for awhile when Ms Tuong cooked.

End of weekend, early to bed at 8:30 to go to school tomorrow. 

Boom's new Combi stroller is great. 

23/3/2016: relaxing Saturday, tennis tournament

Daddy went for tennis tournament all day and party in the evening. Only mom and Boom and Ms Tuong at home. 

Boom skipped morning nap and was so sleepy he easily went down for noon nap.

Explored everything around the house, touch and tried every little thing. Never bored. Never wanted to sleep. Always active and hyper.

Went to the playground in the morning and afternoon and took a evening walked.

Ms Khanh Chi came over to chat. Mom went out to meet a friend for lunch ms Ha Cao. 

Watched people trying to get on the eacalator. Was amusing. 

Some people went to see our apartment for sale and seems interested. 

Boom followed daddy so he had to sneak out of the house. 

Ợ sữa a bit these days because he keep pulling down to nurse while playing.

22/4/2016: 10th school day, TGIF, tried new stroller

Cried a bit when mom picked up.

Mom made steak for dinner. Boom enjoyed the canned food ratatoulle Ms Thu gavex 

 Went for a walk in the new stroller. Very good. Was a bit chilly. 

Went to bed but woke up after 1 hour when daddy came home from tennis. Daddy comforted and toss and turn a bit before falling back asleep.

21/4/2016: 9th day at school, got passport, new stroller

Boom cried a bit but was OK. Now he even sits in the baby chair to eat and doesn't need teacher to rock, just lie in bed and pat a bit to fall asleep.

Mom had to pump more often to get milk but total milk output still the same.

Mom went to TQT for lunch with cousins and got old clothes from Huyen Ly, some fruits and steak from grandma Huyen, went to Sakura to buy formula just in case, diaper, mosquito cream, vitamin for breastfeeding.

Dad and mom picked Boom up on the way back so picked up early. 

Have fun in the evening at home and went downstairs to see some friends like beo, omachi, korean... Dad assembled Boom's carseat but not yet install. Boom's stroller from Japan arrived, tried it at home. Very happy. Went to bed at 9:30pm.

These days have a shower with daddy downstairs after some exercise and poop and a bath in the afternoon after school. Loves the bath and always wants to get in. 

20/4/2016: 8th school day, 10 months

Turn 10mos today. Big poop upon waking up. Cried a bit at school.

Went home and was too sleepy. Nursed and fell aslwep for 1.5 hours.

Went to bed late at 9:30, toss and turn until 10

Mom not pumping enough for Boom's consumption at school. A lot of milk is wasted. Mom very worried.

Boom can turn on and off light switch when daddy says "turn off the lights"

Can press Youtube and switxh songs

These past few days a bit fussy after getting home from school. Wants to nurse all the time and cried when demand not met. Would pull on mom's shirt during taxi ride home

Played with clothes: pull everything out and had fun.

Past 3 days: awake when nursing and put down but toss and turn for awhile and fell asleep on his own. Miracle!

19/4/2016: 7th day at school - back to school

Back to school. Only wimpered a bit. Mom went to buy summer clothes for Boom at Bibomart. 

Boom stayed until 5pm for English at wchool. Schedule messed up. Took late evening nap, went to bed very late. Was fussy. 

Mom went to visit American Montespari Int School in the evening and got back late, almost 9pm. 

Did not take a walk.

Daddy refused to try to install new car seat. 

18/4/2016: holiday

Boom slept late. Spent whole day at home. Went downstairs to play for a bit.

Mom nursed, dis not pump.

Mom had 2 professor visitors in the afternoon. Dad went to play tennis. Mom took Boom on a walk in the carrier since he refused the stroller

Went to bed early but woke up. Had to comfort back to sleep.

Play with remote control and knows where to look

Turn on and off light switch

Move scale in order to get to electric socket

Pull shirt down to nurse whenever he wants

Yells when he sees water to get into batj tube

Can gnaw chicken drumstick

Changed his actions in 1 second: doing one thing then turn away and move to another place eithout any warning

Yells when daddy walks into the door

17/4/2016: fun day at Ecopark

Family went to Ecopark to visit Td's house. Had a lot of fun. Boom took a short nap on the way there: sat in the car seat and listened to iPhone and fell asleep. Took another nap there. Nursed very little. 

Climbed from first to 3rd floor unassisted

Went back and took a long nap and nurse home. Ms Tuong is back so happy. Had dinner at home and took a walk. Went to floor 12B to sleep.

Boom's new car seat from Japan arrived.

Went to bed at 8:30, woke up after awhile, daddy rocked back to sleep, still open his eyes while nursing but after toss and turned for a few minutes fell asleep. Miracle happened after a long time! 

Fell off the bed while sleeping, yelled a bit but continued sleeping.

16/4/2016: pizza 4p's and first time fishing

Did not pee the whole night, diaper still dry. Boom woke up early at 7 bcoz daddy made noise while going out for tennis. Pooped as soon as daddy left so mom called daddy back to help wash Boom.

Fell back asleep after 1 hour. Turns out he was still sleepy but only woke to poop. Daddy played tennis and had breakfast ouside. Boom and mommy slept for 2.5 hours.

Afterwards Boom took a bath w daddy and family went for lunch at pizza 4p's. Boom took a nap for 30', ate lunch happily. Turned around to look at girls the whole time. Went to Ngoc Lam for fishing with dad's friends. Was really hot and uncomfortable. Boom took a nap on mom and dad's arms and nursed a bit. Ate duck drumstick. Dad caught a small fish but let it go. Did not pee much, dry diaper for hours.

Boom was fussy on the way back but only nursed a bit. Took a bath again with daddy, family went doenstairs for wuick dinner and a walk in the square. Boom fell asleep on the way back in thr front facing carrier. Transfered to bed and nursed for 1 hour. Probably to make up for 1 day of not nursing much,

Total sleep time good due to long morning nap and early bedtime

Sometimes not pee much these days. Is he dehydrated? Or sweat too much?

15/4/2015: sick day

Boom was fine at night and got better in the morning but had to stay at home from school. Missed the school's 2nd birthday celebration. Daddy stayed home to help because Ms Tuong still away. 

Daddy went to work in the afternoon and Boom pooped right when daddy left making mommy deal with the mess.

Boom was quite fussy all day but felt better. Only nursed, no solid because parents had to eat out. 

Had a late evening nap so went to bed late at 10:30

14/4/2016: sleep alone failed, good day at school 6th day, fever in the evening

Boom slept on the mattress but nursed more frequently and mom had to wnd up sleeping w him. Maybe because of new environment, or because mom keep moving him for being afraid he would fal out of the high mattress into the floor?

Because Ms Tuong was away, mom and dad had to handle by ourselves so B went to school late. Also had a poop without parents knowing until mom changed diaper and saw. Was fussy when mom handled over but then stopped. Had a good day at school, especially in the afternoon.

Part tome giup viec got an accident so could not come. Daddy played with B while mommy cooked dinner. Boom was fussy and sleepy in the evening, turned out he had a fever. Nursed a lot and finally went to bed. Mom was really worried. He hated rhe fever patch.

13/4/2016: 5th day at school - 8 hours, Ms Tuong away, new apartment

Boom is youngest in the whole school of 450 kids

Seemed ok today, just cried a bit when mom dropped off. Even started to play with friends and teachers in the afternoon.

Today family was able to move to service apartment. Ms Tuong went home for a few days so mom's very tired and busy. Was able to hire a helper for a few hours each evening. 

Boom started dropping late afternoon nap these past 2 days and went to bed early at 8. Today slept in new âprtment. Woke up for an hour due to poop. Will try to let Boom sleep by himself on a mattress on the floor today. 

Boom's changes:

- seems đanh đá, la hét, giãy nảy

- can play by himself at home

- goes to bed earlier and sleep more

- sometimes lie on tummy on the floor to relax while playing (started seeing this trend this afternoon at school)

- smile and talk with teacher 

- seemed ok with strangers 

12/4/2016: 4th day at school - 7 hours, seemed happier, early bedtime

Woke up at 5am, toss and turn for 30' and luckily fell back asleep. Nowadays he only nursed once for 5' at night. 

Mommy not pumping enough milk for Boom's consumption

Breast also soft and no milk leaking

Mom went home for lunch and rest. Was even able to read a book.

Boom cried a bit but was ok all day. Mostly in teacher's arms but played a bit with friends. Drank all the milk so mom had to pick up early at 3:30. Boom was playing happily.

Went home for bath, did not nurse much, would not nap. Went downstairs to play 

Can climb up the steps of the slide by himswlf. Can stand for a few seconds. 

and visited Bin's apartment. Was very sleepy at dinner. Went to bed at 8. Maybe Boom will skip evening nap and go to bed eary from now on? Look very funny wearing sleeveless shirt. 

Royal coty called to inform that we can move to new apartment tomorrow

11/4/2016: 3rd day at school - 6.5 hours

Cried less. Stayed over noon and mom picked up at 3 after snack time. Cried when he saw mommy.

Overall, it's a big improvement. 

Went home for bath and played in the playground.

Took a long evening nap. Had 1 big poop after 1 day of no poop. 

Took 2 hours to get to slee at night. Went to

Bed at 11.

Can use remote control and look at TV or fan

10/4/2016: visit Hoan Kiem lake, missed all meals, only sleep when mommy carriwd

Went downstairs to play in the morning and afternoon. It's a sunny nice day.

Mom went for lunch with Ms Lynn and dad went to a party at Philip's house.

Mom went home and had a long noon nap while nursing.

In the evening family went to Bonjour resto because mom has 50% discount. Boom slept thru the whole dinner. So today he missed both lunch and dinner.

Family went for awalk around Hoan Kiem

Lake. Very crowded and noisy. Was a bizzarw experience for Boom. He was very curious lookong around but holding tight to the stroller. Nowadays behave better during car rides and would stay in the car seat. 

Nowadays in the evening wpuld only sleep when mom comforted. What a reverse experience! Daddy cannot get him to sleep as well.

9/4/2016: saturday home, found the boob, lots of visitors

Saturday home. Slept in until 8:30. Maybe he knows it's weekend? Mom wrnt to Sakura school to learn about montessori in the morning. It is a good school but too far for Boom. Dad went to play tennis early in the morning.

Boom took a noon nap with parents then went down to the playground. Ms Trangtron came for coffee and dinner and played with Boom. Then Phuong Dong and Thuy Duong came to visit and collect Boom's old baby stuffs. Boom went to bed but woke up, took another hour to get back to sleep.

Could sleep very wuickly by carrying and opening the Be oi ngu ngon song. The traditional songs do not work anymore. Never would a miracle happen by gettinf him to fall asleep while in bed.

Went from never nursinf while awake these past few months to nursing a bit while awake this past week and today started ro find the boob by himself and pulling mom's shirt down to nurse here and fhere while playing

8/4/2016: 2nd day at school - 5.5 hours

Only nursed for 1 mins in the middle of the night. Maybe after this sick period he will night wean!

Woke up early, nursed a bit. Dad and grandma went for health checkup. Mom had breakfast and pumped (got very little) and together with ms Tuong took Boom

To school. 

Also cried and fell asleep. Was able to enjoy a bit in teacher's arms. After lunch, teacher rocked to sleep. Mom went home to pump and had lunch. Rushed back to pick up Boom but he was still sleeping. Had to wait for 30' before he wake up. Teacher carried him out. He was quiet and looked so sad for a long time. Made mom really worried. Only after returning home for awhile would he return to his old self - active and noisy.

7/4/2016: first day at school - 3 hours

Mom so stressed about Boom's sickness and going to school.

Still a bit sick but decided to go to school. Cried a bit at first but then pooped (very big, dirtied his clothes) and took a nap. Did not cry much afterwards but teacher had to carry the whole time. Managed to stay almost 3 hours until after lunch time. Mom prepared so much but still forgot clothes for him so had to borrow from other friends. Mommy felt better about Boom going to school.

Woke up for nap at home so Ms Tuonf had to hold while sleeping. Very active and happy at home.

Resume evening walk after 1 week pause  due to runny nose

Got to sleep from 9 but took until 10

To finally settle. Only nursed at bedtime and once more afterwards before midnight.

6/4/2016: 7th sick day, Huyen Ly's birthday

Was supposed to go to school but still sick so mom let Boom stay at home. In the evening went to TQT for Huyen Ly's birthday. Was very active. Went back home and fell asleep but woke up. Went to bed late.

Mom was busy during the day to prepare passport docs for Boom and packing guide as well as memo for Boom to bring to school.

5/4/2016: 6th sick day, Ms Tuong came back

Boom woke up late past 8. Still sick and could not go to school.

Mom did laundry and housework while grandma looked after Boom. Took Boom for a walk. Yesterday Boom had fun downstairs at the playground. Today the playground was too wet. Mom and grandma had bim bap at K food and Ms Tuong came back.

Boom had 3 regular naps. Now mom can get Boom to sleep easier.

Tried to call people by "ê"

Have been using a cup with straw for the past 3-4 weeks since 9 months

Can recognize familiar people

4/4/2016: 5th sick day, Ms Tuong went home

Ms Tuong went home. Had to cook lunch and order Indian delivery. Mom and grandma had to wash Boom's ass and mom did laundry and housework.

Boom took a long lunch nap but stayed awake for many hours and went to bed late at 10:30 after daddy tried to comfort many times and mommy had to carry and sing the song "Chuc be ngu ngon". Seems like this song is very easy for him to fall asleep.

3/4/2016: 4th sick day, Sunday activities. Crazy evening.

Big improvement:

- did not nurse much at night these past 2 days

- doesn't even need the boob when put down into the bed many times

Since sick: very active but difficulty breathinf and getting to bed in the evening. Went to bed very late. Total sleep time very low these past few days

Seemed like crazy for almost 2 hours. Ms Tuong, mom and dad tried to get him to sleep many times but keep resisting. Rolling back and forth and playing arlund like a drunk person, not his usual self. Also cried very hard when daddy rocked. Finally rolled around the bed and mommy sang a bit, fell asleep after being awake 4 hours. Seemed exhausted. Looked bat man and chan doi.

Mom also stressed that Ms Tuong has to go home tomorrow for a couple days and  there's a chance if things with her family do not go well she'll quit her job. Then the family will be in big trouble

Today:

Only took 2 naps, stayed awake a long time

Went for Kafe with parents and grandma. Went home to nap while mom and grandma went to see a movie. 

Seemed very happy

Mom very stressed about Boom's sleeping. Each time took multiple trials. Had to turn of lights and sound around rhe house, set the bed, prepare sleeing bag, blanket, diapers... 

2/4/2016: 3rd sick day, terrible time getting to sleep

Rarely nursed last night, but tossed and turned a lot

Was better today but still haf to take medicine and nose drop and pump. Hates it. 

Still difficult breathing and took a long time to go to sleep from 8:30 till 11pm. Tonight was terrible in terms pf getting him to sleep

Can eat chicken drumstick

Can play by himself happily most of the time. He has changed a lot recently. Always laughing and having fun. Never stops.

Mushroom poop from dinner 3 days ago

1/4/2016: 2nd sick day

Toss and turn fussy all night but did not nurse much, still slept.

Woke up early to poop. Usually hates nose spray or nose pump but has a lot of stuff in nose. Took a long morning nap. Ate a lot for lunch. Had another big poop

These past 2 days very difficult to get himmto sleep in the evening. Usually took w hours from 8-10 with multiple trials
