31/8/2016: cough, early to bed

Since last night parents decide Boom will have to go to bed starting at 8, not so late like the past week. 

Managed to sleep from 7:45 last night (for 12hrs) and 8:30 today.

Coughed a bit, took in some medicine. Happy at school.

- says "cứt" and point out after poop

- points at marks on his body

- does not like people pointing or commenting on his injuries

- funny expressions like surprise, exclaimation when he sees sth

- can play games on smart phone, click and swipe

- thinks everything is touch screen or remote control

- takes of sandals when in the playground

- put books into box 

- knows how to wash his hands

- helps with errands when adult are doing something

26-30/8/2016: runny nose again

Runny nose and some coughing. Still went to school except for weekend. Cried a bit during drop off. Happy most of the time.

- went to bed quite late these past week. Sometimes crying a lot to protest

- wants to go out all the time

- still nursed a lot at night

- music show on the square, Boom started to dance and enjoy but started raining

- went to Long Dinh domain restaurant, Boom observed fish

- can say cá and có

- loves grandma

- walks around the house happily to visit everyone

- even cuddles shyly with uncle Thọ

- usually misses breakfast at school

25/8/2016: evening with parents, early bedtime

Teacher said Boom turned his butt to teacher during English lesson. He talks a lot in class and walks around.

Mom came home for dinner. Dad came late at 9:30. Boom was waiting downstairs by the tennis court, even looking at each car passing by for mom.

Went to bed ealey at 8 by nursing. Nursed a lot, 

22-23/8/2016: mom and dad came back late

Still nursed a lot but usually early morning. Mom and dad had to go to start up events and meetings in the evening so ate out and came back late. Boom slept late because waiting for mom and dad or woke up after sleeping.

Boom agreed to sit in the high chair for awhile and ate chao and other stuff. Drink milk with a spoon.

22/8/1016: lots of new developments

Nursed a lot early morning. Woke up early. Had fun at school. Ms T and grandma Ly came to watch he camera and concluded that Boom is fine and happy.

Teacher said Boom can say a few words. He seems very independent and knows a lot at school. Mom is reluctant to change school for Boom.

Mom took Boom for a walk in the square. He loves walking back and worth but has no sense of direction. Kept walking in cicrles and such a fast pace. Falling and resting from time to time. Unstoppable. Laughing. Always carrying an umbrella like an old man. 

Stopped by the supermarket. Loves arranging sausages.

Danced and had fun in the lobby. Had to try hard to get him home.

Addicted to nursing these days. Could not even wait to get up the elevator when mom came home from work. Even wanted to touch and smell grandma Ly's nipples. 

21/8/2016: grandma Van's bday

Went out to play in the morning. Mom slept in. 

Went to new Hai Cang restaurant for grandma Van'a birthday lunch. Behaved and sat to eat the whole meal but was fussy towards the end. Napped on the way home.

Played at home while parents went to meet Kat to discuss Ladaku project. 

Went home and took Boom indoor swimming.

Boom fell asleep while nursing. 

20/8/1016: 14mos, full days activity

Woke up early. Spit up on the bed again. Went to play with Ms Tuong and grandma Ly. Fell asleep in the lobby. 

Mom had meeting with Lynn and Dung about Japanese kindergarten.

After that parents took Boom to TQT for giỗ ông ngoại. Boom had fun with cousins and ate a lot on daddy's lap. Tried to resist sleep until the end. Had fun.

Went home and nurse and woke up. Played with neighbors. Had fun. Likes eating cốm. When he gets bored with eating something, he would shake his head. 

Loves dancing to Youtube songs. 

Went swimming indoors witth parents. 

After dinner took a walk with parents and grandma. Walked for 1/2 lenght of the square, even holding the umbrella.

Drank milk, nursed and fell asleep. 

Prefers to drink straight from the cup. Mom had to cut his finger nails every week while he's sleeping. 

17, 18, 19/6/2016: school dáy, storm

Cried a bit during drop off. Teacher said Boom okay at school. He eats better nowadays that he is not sick.

Stays up late at night until 9:30, seems over excited.

Grandma and Ms Tuong would pick Boom up from school. It's helpful

To have grandma Ly here. 

Today Daddy picked Boom up from school after lunch because of the storm. Boom cried when he sees friends leaving. Fell asleep in the car.

Walks easily from room to room, talking all the time. Resumed night nursing again. Mommy so tired.

Dạo này không cười kiểu hít hà chun mũi. Đùa cợt. 

Addicted to Youtube. Pressed the remote into kom's hands toturn on for him.

16/8/2016: back to school

Woke up too early, would not fall back asleep. Saw Aura and brother Amor downstairs.

Back to school after a long time. Cried a bit but was happy. New friend in class. Classmate Tom moved to upper class. Grandma Ly and Ms Tuong picked up from school. Enjoyed a walk.

Walk around the house talking loudly in his banguage all the time. Understands everything. Started to say me, ma...

Rocked to sleep at 8:30 but woke up again. Played with parents for 1 hour before falling asleep again.

15/8/16: one more day home

Stayed home one more day. Was happy. Ms Tuong came back.

13-14/8/2016: Ms Tuong away, Aeon mall, record early sleep time and long sleep

Ms Tuong went home for the weekend so parents struggle with Boom. Luckily grandma is here.

Went out for all meals. Went to Lotte Mipec for dinner on Sat, Boom did not eat much. Visited Bin at R5A. 

Went to Aeon mall for lunch on Sun. Managed to eat better. Enjoyed riding the games. 

Only napped for 25' on the way home. Played all afternoon while mom and dad discussed start up with Mr Tuan Anh.

Fell asleep at 5:45 while nursing. Thought he would only take a short nap but was so sleepy, would not wake up, even when put on the stroller downstairs for dinner. Skipped dinner. Slept 13.5 hours until 7:15AM. 

12:8/16: stayed home again, very happy

Decided to let Boom stay home 2 more days to get tuition discount (if sick for 10 days).

Had a good day at home with grandma and Ms Tuong. Ate much better. Pee a lot (did not pee much while sick meaning he did not drink much). Was happy and active. 

Rule with children: can never predict, no routine. They change evey day.

11/8/16: grandparents visit

Ms Hong and grandparents came from Hoa Binh.

Boom went to class again. Seemed fine but it has been a long time. Saw Aura in the playground.

Went home early to play with grandma. Grandma will stay in Hanoi for awhile.

10/8/16: recover

No more medicine and spit up. Stayed home to recover. Seemed better.

Started nursing and peeing more.

9/8/2016: a bit better, last day of antibiotics

Boom a bit better. Mom had to go to work.

Last day of 5 day anyibiotics for Boom. 3rd day for mom.

Boom drank more milk but refused to eat chao. 

Boom loves going out all the time. Very bored at home.

8/8/2016: mommy sick at home, Boom's 4th day on antibiotics

Boom nursed often. Spit up once. Still cough.

Mommy also cough a lot. Itchy throat. Very uncomfortable. Had to stay home. Also had to take antibiotics.

Boom woke up at 8. Normal day but still cough and tired. He would play for awhile if can get something to eat. After that will be tired and had to held him so he can rest on the shoulder. Nurses a lot. 

Never sit in the highchair now. Had to do all kinds of things for him to eat a few spoons, even eainf in the bath. 

6-7/8/2016: family sick weekend

Knows what he wants. Would bring parents hands to lead to trll us to do something.

Shakes and nods his head.

Tired. Wants to be held.

Babble as if he can talk.

The whole family is sick. Stayed home all weekend. Parents had to visit the doctor and also take antibiotics.

Boom took antibiotics for 3 days but still sick and tired. Still spit up but less. Had to change the bedsheet everyday.

He looks quite thin now. 

5/8/2016: viêm phế quản

Liêu xiêu, mặt buồn, so thin. Lost 0.4kg no longer summo

Professor missed school for 1 ưeek, downgraded to student

Did not nurse much last night. These past few days he did not nurse much. Good so he won't spit up but bad that he is not getting much milk. 

Went to the doctor again. This time had Xray. Doctor said Boom had viem

Phe quan. Had to take higher dose of antibiotics.

Mom went to work in the morning and then for a talk with director at batdonsan.com.vn and then went home early to look after Boom.

He ate better. Managed to drink medicine. Sometimes happy, sometimes sad.

Went for a walk.

Went to bed at 8:30. Spit up again after nursing.

4/8/2016: thin

Still sick and spit up every day on the bed. However less poop and pee.

Everyone says Boom looks thin. Has been home for 4 days. Eats little. Drinks little milk. However managed some medicine. 

Nursed little at night. Spit up a little on the bed again at 10:30

Mommy managed to cut hos finger nails.

3/8/2016: 3 times spit up, visited another doctor

3 times spit up last night.

Mom had a Skype interview in the morning. Daddy sick. Mom still had to go to work for 3 candidate interviews. Went in late and left early.

Fussy in the morning and did not eat much. Only happy when hanging outside the apartment. Visited another doctor in the building, he said Boom is fine. 

Found another way to give medicine to him successfully. Diluted and disguise as a juice. 

Professor Boom doing his disertation, Ms Tuong always joked. Wants to go out all the time.

1-2/8/2016: stayed at home, sick

Stayed home. No more pooing at night. But still spit up and not eat much. Sometimes happy, sometimes fussy.

Shakes his head to refuse things. Even intentionally cried and put his hands in his mouth to vomit. Mom and dad so stressed. Refused to take medicine and would spit out.

Daddy also got sick.
