26-29/6/2017: short week before summer break

Only went to school for 4 days. Will go to Phu Quoc on Fri. Summer holiday next week so he will get school off. 

Mom so busy, did not have time to write blog for Boom.

Boom still went to bed late and gets up early at 7. Sometimes even earlier. Everytime he got up he was fussy and asked for candy. Even woke up at 4 once crying, mommy had to comfort back to sleep. 

Today he woke up and cried a lot because he did not see mommy.

Otherwise he has been fine.

Loves singing and dancing. Remembers all the songs. Sings everywhere. 

Had to take one vaccination before going to Phu Quoc. 

25/6/2017: no swimming weekend

Mom had driving lesson theory class jn the morning. Boom played with Ms Tuong and grandma Ly. Napped with Ms Tuong for 3 hours! 

Mom went for coffee with a friend. 

This weekend Boom did not get to go swimming.

Still falls alseep late at almost 10 every night although he goes to bed at 8:30-9. Took a long time to sleep.

24/6/2017: cousins went home

Mom and dad had IETLS test. Boom played with Ms Tuong and cousins. Cousins went to the cooking class instead of mom. Made cakes.

Boom took early nap but only napped for 1 hour. 

Mom had driving lesson in the afternoon for 3 hours. Was exhausted. Boom played with Ms Tuong. Afterwards mom took Boom to buy a model crane car as a gift from grandparents for his birthday. Was still fussy. Wanted to open the car right away. 

Cousins left in the afternoon. House quite and peaceful again. Was quite crazy while they were here.

23/6/2017: ielts speaking test

Mom and dad had IELTS speaking test. Boom went to school with Ms Tuong. Went home. Had usual routine. 

Ms Tuong got him to sleep so he slept earlier at 9:25. Mom and dad had to prepare for IELTS exam the next day.

22/6/2017: another tantrum, milk addiction, diarrhea

Woke up at 7 with another tantrum. This time for oto. But nothing would please him. Daddy had to take over. He finally stopped. 

Did not cry during drop off. Mom and dad talked about conflict and felt better. 

Ms Tuong finally arrived in the afternoon.

Mom exhausted from all the kids. Did not have much time for IELTS revision or other tasks. Mom had interview with Lalamove in the afternoon. 

Boom did not eat much the whole evening. Had diarrhea and pooped 3 times with lots of liquid. But kept asking for milk. Drank 500ml. 

Has been having low sleep hours due to late bedtime and early wakings. Every night it would take him 1-2 hours to fall asleep and usually ends up sleeping at 10. Mom desperately wants him to slwe earlier and have more sleep. He used to sleep at 8:30 when nursed or rocked to slee. With Ms T it was 9:30. Now with mommy it became even later.

Boom no longer asks to nurse or needs comfoeting at night. Mom's so happy to get a full night's sleep. It was painful and scary to remember the nights that he was crying desperately for mommy when trying to wean him.

21/6/2017: tantrum, resume eating

Woke up at 8 crying for candy. Parents had to let him cry it out. Threw a tantrum. Finally calmed down and watched TV. Was really hungry so ate egg, bread, milk. Mom brought B to school. Did not cry. 

Ms Tuong hasn't returned yet. Since Monday Mommy had been running crazy with housework, errands, taking care of Boom. Had no free minute or any rest. 

Today went to apply for new passport, took cousins sight seeing, lunch with Lan Huong, eye brow tweezing etc. picked Boom up from school and took care of him until he fell asleep at 10. Resumed eating today: chao, gio, egg, apple, shrimp, chocolate, cốm, orange juice. Drank 3

Bottles of milk! Took bath with daddy. Asked to call grandparents.

Mom gave him mints for teeth and now he is addicted as if they are candies!

Went to bed at 8 but kept drinking milk and some fussy time asking for candy so fell asleep at 10.

20/6/2017: night waking, 2nd birthday

Woke up for 1.5 hours. Seemed like he was hungry. Ate chocolate and drank milk. Pooped. Fell back asleep on the sofa with mommy.

Mom told him about his birthday celebration on the way to school so he was happy and excited. Was surprised to see mom and cousins come to school. Was very happy blowing candles at school.

Went swimming with cousins. Had to pay for them. 

Family went to Thai Express for dinner and Bibomart to buy him a set of toy cars for his birthday. Was very happy. 

Had another birthday cake at home. Enjoyed blowing candles.

Still did not eat much for dinner 3rd night in a row. Drank some milk. Went to bed late at 11.

19/6/2017: fussy

Woke up in the middle of the night asking for water, food, TV and crying. Took 1.5 hours to get back to sleep. Mom and dad still arguing and mad at each other.

Slept for 2 more hours and woke up at 7:40z was really hungry to ate at home. Mom and cousins took Boom to school. Had to carry him. A bit fussy but then did not cry.

Exhausting day. Ms Tuong went home due to emergency. Mom had to go housework and instructed the cousins and monitor them. Mom did not have enough sleep. Then in the afternoon had to pick up and mail dad's transcript for Canada immigration. Then picked Boom up from school.

Had to carry Boom the whole way.

Boom did not eat much all evening. Only 1 egg white and 3 spoons of spaghetti. Fussy and crying for mommy. Wanted to unwrap all chocolate balls. Had to let him cry for awhile.

Had swollen and rash on his foot and tummy from insect bite again!

Managed to drink 150ml milk. Went to bed early but toss and turn and sang songs with mommy for an hour. Fell asleep at 9:30. Still late but that's an improvement.

- would want to do something like eat or pee pee if not allowed to 

- really surprised and delighted when he was able to touch and find mom's nipples. Was giggling. 

Tomorrow is his birthday but mom and dad have not prepared anything yet. 

18/6/2017: relatives from Hoa Binh

Fussy a bit early morning but settle back to sleep. Woke up at 7. 

Mom went a bit for driving theory class. Boom went downstairs to play. Then relatives from

hoa Binh came. Boom was very happy to see bac Tho.

Ate lunch sitting with cousins. Fussy during naptime. Wanted to "đi chơi". Fell asleep on mommy's shoulder. Slept 2.5 hours but woke up crying again.

Went to supermarket with Ms Tuong and Ms Tam, Ms Nhuan while parents and the cousins went ice skating. Boom was really suprised when seeing mommy ice skating. Had his trademark shy mouth curving in. Mom had to leave early because Boom keep asking for mom.

Was very hapt when mom bought Boom an ice cream.

whole family had dinner at Quan Ngon. Boom

Did not eat anything. Had a poop bomb. Ms T and daddy had to bring B home. Poo got all

Over Ms T's body. Both had to take a bath.  

Played and did not eat anything. Drank a bit milk fownstairs in the lobby then frll asleep in Ms T's arms at 9:50. Now it's easy to put him down after falling asleep. 

Probably was too excited today.

17/6/2017: early waking, cooking class, swimming

Woke up at 5:30 crying. Had to watch Youtube. 

Mom went for cooking class. Boom

Joined afterwards. Enjoy eating food there. 

Fell asleep early at 11am. Napped for 3.5 hours!

Went to

Supermarket then went swimming with parents and Ngoc Minh.

Ate a lot for dinner. Pooped twice in one evening.

Took an hour to fall asleep but fell asleep at 9:45

16/6/2017: grandpa Tuan Anh and grandma Loan visit, brand new Cruze

Slept well. Fussy at home again. Did not care for his Cruze.

Peed on the floor. Watched Youtube. Ate ok but not as well as other days.

Mr Tuan Anh and Ms Loan visited grandma Ly. Boom was shy. Went into the bedroom to play with Ms Tuong and Ngoc Minh and went to bed early at 9:20

15/6/2017: night waking, a bit earlier bedtime

Woke up at 3:30. Ms Tuong had to comfort Boom back to sleep.

Boom's penis got better. "Chim Boom khỏi rồi".

Quite fussy after returning home from school these days. Kept telling grandma Ly to "bà đi ngủ đi"

Ngoc Minh read books for Boom before bedtime. Mom and dad sang songs and told stories. Managed to get an earlier bedtime at 9:45. 

14/6/2017: penis accident, mommy went to Saigon

Mom had an interview so went to SG for a day trip. Left early morning and did not return until past midnight due to flight delay.

Boom hurt his penis at school due to the toilet seat cover. Got a swollen red penis. Cried a bit. Teachers Trinh and Laura visited Boom at home with some gifts. Boom was shy. 

Daddy cleaned Boom's penis. 

13/6/2017: visit grandma Ly

Had a fine day. Visited grandma Ly in the hospital.

Still went to bed late at 10:14

12/6/2017: grandma Ly's surgery, monster daddy

Everyone woke up early to take grandma To the hospital. Boom got woken up due to the noise.

Grandma's surgery was risky. Everyone was worried. Luckily it went well. She stayed in the regular room that was very crowded and dirty until transfered to a better room. Ms Tam, Ms Hong and daddy took turns staying at hospital. Mom came to bring food regularly. 

Boom got an acident falling of the swing. Hit his head into the grass. Cried a lot. Luckily he was alright. 

Boom was fussy in the evening. Daddy hit Boom and mommy. Mommy will not forgive daddy. Boom cried a lot. Mommy and Boom slept alone. Boom went to bed at 10:45.

11/6/2017: full of activities and visitors

Woke up at 7:45, better than past 2 days. 

Went to supermarket with Ms Tuong and Ngoc Minh again. Mom went for driving theory class. Daddy went for Gardenia offline coffee. 

Took a 3 hour nap. Woke up and went swimming with parents and Ngoc Minh. 

Came home to see visitors from Hoa Binh: Ms Tam, Ms Hong, Ms Nhuan, Mr Tho and grandpa Thai. Boom was really happy.

Went to the Japanese garden on the rooftop then the ball house at Robins. Had a fun time playing and looking at toys. Mom bought Boom a red bus toy so Boom went home happily. Went to bed late at 11 again.

Mom felt

Terrible. Since he slept with mommy he had been going to bed really late at 10-11pm!!!

10/6/2017: fussy waking up again

Only slept from 11-6. Woke up fussy again.

Played downstairs with grandma and Ngoc Minh and Ms Tuong. Also went to the supermarket for free food. 

Mom attended a cooking class and brought food home for lunch.

Ms Tuong had to get Boom to nap. Nap with mommy for 4 hours! Woke up at 5. Should have woken him up earlier. 

Only stayed at home to play. A bit fussy in the afternoon when daddy came home. Pooped 3 times. Enjoyed taking bath with daddy. Ate well. 

Went to bed late at 10:55 again! 

9/6/2017: fussy waking, grandma Ly visit hospital, swimming outdoors, late bedtime

Woke up early at 6, fussy for awhile, wanted to watch Youtube right away.

Went to school and went back with Ms Tuong and Ngoc Minh. 

Mom and dad took grandma to Heart hospital to prepare for admission and mom also had to run errands to so Canada paperwork. Grandma will have to insert stent on Monday and stay in hospital for a few days.

Parents took Boom and Ngoc Minh swimming outdoors but it was windy and cold. Boom was really confident and enjoys it. Finally managed to get him home.

Boom was happy in the eveninf jumping on the bed. But cried when eevry body went to the dining table for dinner. Fussy again and had to sit in front of TV for dinner. Managed to brush teeth. 

Played happily with Ngoc Minh before bed. Mom let Boom play for a long time. Then after turning off the lights, Boom continued playing and singing for 1 hour. Went to bed at 10:55. Very late. 

Should have been more strict about getting him to sleep next time.

8/6/2017: took grandma Ly for checkup again

Boom slept from 9:45-8. Ate a bit spagetti then went to school. A bit fussy.

Yesterday daddy took grandma Ly to Bach Mai hospital. Today mom and dad took her to Heart hospital. Took the whole day.

Had a fun time at home in the aftwer noon and evening. Pooped in the potty. Lazy to pee or brush teeth.

Went to bed early at 8:30 but took a long time to fall asleep. Fell asleep at 10.

Can sing pretty well many songs, even request certain songs:

- baa baa black sheep

Loves singing every night. 

7/6/2017: swimming with Ngoc Minh, new bike

Woke up late at almost 9. Ngoc Minh kept going in to check whether Boom has woken up or not.

Went to school with Ngoc Minh and Ms Tuong. Cried during drop off.

Went home and went swimming indoors with mom and Ngoc Minh. Did not want to put the float on. Thought he knew how to swim so kept pushing mom away to swim by himself.

Daddy assembled new bike for Boom. Boom was really excited. However the bike was too big. They delivered the wrong size.

Ate well. Fussy during bedtime because he wanted to play with the cars in the sink. Slept late at almost 10.

6/6/2017: Hoa Binh relatives visit

Slept from 9:30-7:15. Fussy and cried when waking up. Fussy during drop off.

Grandma Ly and uncle Tho and aunts Hong, Tam and cousin Minh came to visit. Boom was very happy when they picked him up at school.

Had a good time at home. Hugged wveryone and danced around. Had early dinner.

Went to Robin's with Minh and Ms Hong to play in the ball house. Was really happy. However both Boom and Minh hang around the toy store not wanting to go home. Boom would walk around touching every toy longingly. Went home late at 8:30 with some mourning.

Ate a bit more then went to bed late at 10.

5/6/2017: back to school, cried a bit

Slept from 10-8. Fussed a bit in the middle of the night crying "mommy". Mommy said "mommy đây" and touchex him

And he fell back asleep.

Did not want to get out of bed. Kept lying lazy on bed with mommy, even asked to pull the curtains saying "Boom đi ngủ". 

Cried during drop

Off at schooL and pick up. Probably because he has been out of school for the last 5 days.

Ate well at home. Only watched TV for the last 30'.

Told mommy "Boom so happy". Pooped in the Boom

Potty. Brushed teeth. Pee pee. Read books with mommy. Then turned of the lights and sang songs with mom and dad. Toss and turn around a lot. Even laughed and said "mommy daddy sleeping" "daddy. Hug mommy" 

Fell asleep at 9:30, still late but better than past few days

4/6/2017: back to Hanoi, so hot

Slept from 10-8. Went for breakfast with grandparents and Lena. 

Went back to play with grandma Hang while mommy packed. Left for airport. Boom did not want to leave and cried. Finished a big carton of milk on the way.

Had a big black poop at the airport. Ate apple. Fell asleep from boarding till almost landing.

It was really hot in Hanoi. Boom knew and said so hot. Sang songs on the car ride home.

Went swimming at 6:30 but it was still warm. Boom did not want to get out. Was very confident with his float. 

Took a shower with mom. Peed on the floor. Pooped before bed. Went to bed late with mommy at 10. First time he slept with mom in the master bedroom again since weaning.

3/6/2017: good sleep, good day, dog bị thiến

Slept 10 hours from 10-8.

Went out for breakfast with grandparents. Managed to call to poop in the toilet.

Played at home in the morning. Dog had to be thiến. It was terrible hearing him cry.

Took a long time to fall asleep for nap. Had to watch Youtube and fell asleep at 2. Napped for 2 hours. 

Went to Vivocity with grandma. Was really happy there. Cried when he had to leave. 

Ate dinner late. Took bath with grandma. Played in grandparents bedroom. Was very happy jumping up and down. Even danced on the bed to music. Drank some milk. Brushed teeth. 

Said good bye to grandparents and went back to parents bedroom. Took awhile to fall asleep by reading books and swimming. Went to bed late at 11.

2/6/2017: Sell Masteri, photoshoot

Slept from 10:20-6. Still sleepy but wanted to nurse and cried. 

Had photoshoot with Quan in the morning. Did not really enjoy. Was tired and sleepy.

However, held off until after lunch and fell asleep in the car ride to Masteri. Woke up once we got there so only got 45' nap.

Played with grandma in the apartment while parents went to do paperwork to selll the apartment. Had a good time with grandma. After that went to megamall and went home. Boom fell asleep on the car ride home again.

Really enjoys taking a bath with grandma since coming here. Watched Youtube while mom booked flight tickets.

Ate dinner ok but mom had to run aftwr him to get him to eat more. Finished all his milk. Should have given him a bigger bottle.

Played and read books in bed. Turned off the lights and sang songs. Took awhile to fall asleep at 10. Should have put him in bed earlier.

1/6/2017: good day in HCM except tantrum

Slept well all night from 9:30-7:30. Mom left early to go for breakfast with friends. Boom stayed home and played with grandma and daddy. Had a good time.

Mommy came home to play with Boom. Boom fell asleep at noon before lunch. Napped for almost 2.5 hours. 

Woke up and ate late lunch well. Played with mom and grandma. Went to supermarket. 

Had a terrible tantrum on the way home. Cried for 1 hour. No one could comfort him. Don't know what he wanted.

After that enjoyed bath with grandma. Guests Huong Binh and Cuong Yen came for dinner to discuss Canada immigration. There was Ivy 3y and an older boy. Boom sat in high chair and ate well. Played around while adults talked.

Went to bed late at 10:30 but slept easily after reading books and telling stories.

Has been cooperating in brushing teeth, pee pee, wash hands etc. understands most instructions. 

Lucky that we brought the Boom potty with us. Has been pooping twice a day.
