16/8

16/8

Feeds: 8, average interval 2h35
Sleep: 14h, total 8 (5 daytime naps)
Diapers: 15

Last night Boom was able to 4.5 hours after 11:30 feed so it was one of the few record long night stretch. However, after 4AM feed he was wide awake. Mommy tried to rock and sush but still did not fall asleep. Finally mommy was too tired so put him down into the crib next to the bed. Use one hand to comfort him and turn on wide noise. Mommy fell asleep. Boom lied there looking around quitely for 30' before falling asleep on his own. Seems like at night Boom is better at falling asleep on his own.

Tosay daddy is home so was able to help with caring for Boom (sleeping, changing diaper, bath). Daddy gave Boom a bottle. Took a few rounds but was able to finish 120ml. Was able to fall asleep on his own  once and easily in daddy's arms once. The secret was to capture when he start to feel sleepy and act right away.

Overall eating and napping not so bad but mostly short naps. Only one 1.5 hour nap but with a few interventions from daddy.

After bayh, daddy had to go out. Ms Lynn Dung visited while mommy nurse Boom. Boom nowadays very lazy to eat and spends less time on each breast. Sometimes would stop to poop or just look at mommy and smile. Gets distracted easily.

Took a long time for mommy to get Boom to sleep after his dinner feed after bath. Just as mommy put him down he woke up and asked for food again. Ate just a little and finally fell asleep at 8. Maybe last time he was not so full. Ms Lynn had to leave, daddy still not home, leaving mommy so hungry anf tired alone with Boom. Daddy finally came home at 9 so mom and dad had very late dinner with food Ms Lan prepared the day before in the fridge.
Boom slept very soundly from 8 onewards. Mommy debated whether to give him 1 or 2 dreamfeeds to tank up before midnight but was too tired and after he ate for more than 30' at 10:30 dreamfeed, decided to call it a night and put him back to crib to sleep until whenever.

Conclusion: short total sleep time but many short naps. Slept well in the evening. Less feeds especially in the evening and more time spent on breast for each feed.
