Nowadays Boom has big improvement sleeping early at night due to early bath starting last Saturday. Does not fuss during witch hour or stay awake until midnight. Mommy usually goes to sleep early with Boom around 8, 9...
Boom also cries less especially after waking up and does not demand food right away.
Last night Boom slept well but only 3 hours at a time. Woke up at 2 and 5:30. Mommy tried hard to make him eat more but ate half heartedly. Took another nap after 5:30 that Mommy tried to put back in crib, lasted a bit, crying and mommy sush and pat and held his hand reaching from her bed. After awhile daddy rescued to sleep with him but only slept awhile and then mommy had to feed again. Keep falling asleep and losing hold of the breast. Finally let Boom sit in the chair to poop and do his morning ritual (wash ass, wash face and mouth).
Did not sleep much for morning nap. Only spent 30' on mom's chest. Mom decided to give Boom an early lunch and then asked Ms Lan to help Boom sleep for his lunch nap while mommy took a shower and have lunch with daddy. The moment she put Boom into the crib, Boom cried. Daddy had to trick Boom by transfering him to the big pillow first before moving to the crib. The nap only lasted another 15' but gave mommy some rest.
Then mommy nursed Boom again and he fell asleep on the bed next to mommy. Mommy made a big mistake by changing Boom's diapers. He cried a lot because he was woken up. However, after puttinf him down into the bed, he calmed down. Mommy nursed him some more to make up for the short feed before and he happily fell asleep. Mommy debated between letting Boom sleep on the bed or transfering to the crib but decided to transfer to the crib after awhile. In bed Boom made lots of noises and movements and mommy alwayas had to put a hand to hold him and was scared of crushing him. In the crib next to mommy's side of the bed, mommy still lie next to Boom and put her hand into the crib to comfort or check on him.
After a 2 hours nap, Boom cried. Mommy decided to give him a bath. So Ms Lan and mommy gave Boom a bath. Boom was still sleepy so did not cry at all the whole time and enjoyed it. After that Boom played for a while in the activity mat to wait for 3 hours exact between 2 feeds.
After eating afternoon snack at 5 and pooping many times, Boom still did not sleep. Mommy had to pat and sush. After fighting mommy for a while, Boom finally gave in and fell asleep. Mommy waited 20' before putting Boom down. Mommy will write blog while Boom sleeps and waiting for daddy to come home for dinner.
Boom woke up just as mommy and daddy were having dinner. Fed Boom on both breasts but would not fall asleep, daddy had to sing for awhile to sleep.
Got up again a few minutes later. Mommy nursed him in bed and he fell asleep. Mommy let him lie in bed sleeping next to mommy but mommy couldn't sleep so daddy put Boom back to the crib. Mommy woke up around 11:30 after hearing some hungry rooting noise from Boom to give a dream feed and change diaper. Boom opened his eyes a bit but drifted off to sleep.
